They're making it too easy

So in short
1st monster has 2600 atk and can't be destroyed by card effects
2nd can be any lvl from 1-4
3rd is like a substitute marauding captain
Also, these Main spring monsters seem pretty good

Tyrus needs 2 level 5 creatures to make it...Exceeds aren't like synchros mate. You can't just add up the levels =P

That being said, Tyrus seems to be too hard to make to make his ability useful. I can see him being used in a Junk Exceed deck...but Junk monsters are better focused on synchro summoning.

It says right on the card text that Gagaga magician can't be used in synchro, and even if you try negating that effect to get around it, it'll go back to its original level.

Also, read up on how to summon exceed monster before posting. You need TWO LEVEL FIVE MONSTERS TO SUMMON TYR.

Rank 5 monsters will be annoying to summon with out Mainsprings it looks. Also just remember Exceed =/= Synchro and I know moving away from it will be a bit hard for people.

Also, to be honest, it seems the best Exceed monsters released are the Rank 3 ones.

IMO the only good looking ones so far and they can easily be summoned on your first turn using Marauding + Whatever

Exceed might turn out to be a flop mechanic.

I know how to exceed, but there are plenty of self-summon level 5's like quickdraw synchron, tricky, anteatereatingant, etc.
