Avalon avenger Scrap Dragon Mustard Like Soup Come March 19th, 2011, when the 2011 Starter Deck is released and premiering Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal's Exceed Monsters in our game, priority will no longer be an existing, legitimate mechanic. Ignition effects are no longer plausible upon summoning of the card. Spell Speed 1 abilities are finally as they should be - Spell Speed 1. Spell Speed 1 - What does that include, please pardon my noob-ness. I have learnt Yugioh from the PSP so my knowledge is based on experience instead of learning. So does that include traps or does the term spell speed 1 include traps and spells? Can a monster with an ignition effect, like Scrap Dragon chain to a spell speed 1 card? Spell Speed 1 defines basic spell cards, continuous spell cards, equip spell cards, field spell cards, and now ignition monster effects'. A chain cannot be initiated between to spell speed 1 effects. Spell Speed 2 defines basic traps, continuous traps, trigger and multi trigger monster effects. Chains can be initiated be spell speed 2 cards and spell speed 2 cards, as well as spell speed 1 cards. Spell Speed 3 defines Counter traps and Counter Traps alone. Counter traps can chain all other spell speeds. I hope this isn't too confusing for you.
What spell speed is a quick-play spell....because you can chain quick-plays so i'm having trouble labelling it under your definitions

Zero Hiru Konami has sent an e-mail to all judges and organizers of the TCG stating that the priority ruling change will NOT affect the TCG. Here, I'll just post the email from Julia.
Julia Hedberg Hi Judges, Well, it was an exciting weekend for some of us – Konami in Japan posted information on their website, concerning a change in the way priority will interact with Monster’s Ignition effects, and the TCG world started going ballistic. Just to make sure our judges are all receiving correct information, I’m sending out this email. Here’s all you need to know for the time being: 1) This change will take place on March 19th for OCG Territories only. It will not be in effect in TCG territories (which means everyone receiving this email.) 2) In other words, do not make any changes to previous rulings in TCG territories. Players will tell you the rule has changed. They will be wrong. 3) When any such change takes place in TCG territories, judges and players alike will be provided with official information on www.yugioh-card.com. I will also send out a general email to the judge roster. There will be time to prepare and we will give you plenty of details about what the change will mean.4) Once more, just for the heck of it – this ruling change does not currently affect the TCG. There are no changes in rulings for the TCG. Good luck at your events in the coming weeks! You are in for a fun time. J PS: News of an exciting and helpful judge resource should be announced soon. Look for an upcoming email! Julia Julia Hedberg Judge Manager, Card Business Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Note the bolded.
Also note that this rule change will come to the TCG eventually. Otherwise Worlds will be ridiculous.
