Parallel Universes?

ok so i have been for a long time researching in the paranormal and i have stumbled over something that is kinda confusing me.What is making me so confused is that the ideal of a parallel universe. Some say reason there are ghosts is because of that theory and that maybe the universes are all connected to ours. Its been debated by alot of Scientist and paranormal investigators and i want to know about what you guys think about parallel universes, and if the theory exist or not to you.
I think that it could not exist but i could be wrong.

I feel it is possible they exist. Most of my exposure has been through theoretical physics, not metaphysics. To be honest, I sometimes wonder if the scientists in the field can distinguish between the two.

I strongly believe in the possibility of the multiverse. Its more or less the same as the theory of a parallel universe, however, as the name implies, the mutliverse theory is the theory that their are multiple universes that are parallel to ours.

If my studies are correct, the Shamans believed the dreamworld to be a parallel world, and that the experiences we have their are real experiences, not just dreams.
