The man cautiously leads Terra and Sebastian over through some narrow cliff ledges, then begins cowering and whimpers "I'm so sorry... They made me do it!"

So, the man begins to cower as several men leap down from an overhanging ledge with weapons out, blocking out both the advancing path and the escape. Swinging around his club, the guy next to the cowering man says "Nice job, bringing us a real cutie this time."
Pointing at Sebasitan, then Terra, he says "Cliff him, Grab her."


Now would be a good time to be rolling initiative.

Sebastian Probably is going first, at an initiative of 28...
Bandits move at Initiative of 9.
Drawing out his shortsword, he bounds down one square, then up-left and stabs away at the villain. The sword connects, and the man gets skirmish'd for 8 damage total.

Alrighty, well then...Moving right along. The leader Man switches the club to his off hand, and draws out a blackjack, moving to KO Terra.
Stabbed thug #2 tries to club Sebastian
Thug life 3 steps forward and also tries to beat that man meat.
Terra takes 3 subdual.

*ahem* Seeing Terra take a smack to the face, Sebastian ducks out of his melee and moves to skirmish the s**t out of the thug leader's face.

Hit, and the man is shanked for another 8 damage and is down for the count.
Sebastian says to Terra "I know you mean well and everything, but MOVE YOUR a**, GIRL!"


The wounded Thug #2 moves forward from his position hugging the cliff wall to attack Terra

Thug #3 moves near the edge of the cliff, trying to get a clear shot on the adventurers.

xxxTerra backs away from the two remaining attackers a good 10 feet before firing off another magic missile, this time at thug #2.

Anyways, mistah thug #2 takes a bolt to the face. Dropping his club, he takes a couple half-steps back, then falls down with blood pouring out of his nose.
Sebastian bounces around the narrow cliff path and stabs at the last thug, downing him at 10 points as the man doesn't know what hit him. Other than Sebastian's short sword.

Edit: Oh, right. Combat's over. I'm awarding 450 exp to the party. Have at it.

The man, who was just whimpering and curled up in the fetal position on the ground, breaks down and starts crying, saying "P-please! Don't! T-they have m-my wife and daughter! They said that they'd kill them and worse if I didn't bring them some people!"
Trembling, he just says between sobs "Please don't kill me... I'm sorry...

xxxIt was almost humorous that such a tiny, weak girl was managing to intimidate anyone. Still, they had just killed the three thugs in a manner of seconds. That had to have helped. Looking at the trembling peasant, Terra asked, "Do you know where their camp is?" Well, Guys like these usually robbed and raped. Their might be some interesting trinkets worth taking at that camp, if there weren't that many of them. On top of that, maybe they could save this guy's family, as much as she didn't like him. It was worth at least scoping out from a distance, if they could. "Just remember, if you lead us into another trap, you're the first thing dying, understand?*"

The man says "I-it's up that path. They were camped out in an abandoned mine shaft..." Sniffling, he says "Really, I'm sorry... Please, if you can... I know I don't have anything to offer you and no right to ask, but I can't get them back on my own. We were just some roamers, and they came in with swords and they just beat us until we blacked out, and when I came to, they had my wife and kid and said that if I didn't lure some people from the village that they'd..."
Not able to finish his sentence at the thought, he breaks down and begins crying some more, just saying "P-please..."

After he calms down a bit and stops bawling so loudly, Terra pokes him into leading them towards the mine shaft.

Anyway, looking around over the ledges, Terra sees a light at the entrance of the tunnel pouring out and begins to walk towards it. Stopping herself, she takes a look around, and then sees a guy walking a fair distance away, looking around a little.
Ducking, Terra and sebastian (NOTE: I lost the tile I used for him before, so I subbed in a new pic for Sebastian on the map) stay a little out of sight with sebastian pulling out his trusty bow. They remain tense for a moment until the man says "Release the dam and let loose the mighty river~! Aaaaaahhh..."

peeking up, he's facing a wall and moving his hips around, saying "Ooooobaaaaaad-haaaaaaiiii..." as a wet stain can be seen on the mountain cliff from between his legs.
