It doesn't appear to be anything remarkably magical.

xxxMaking sure to keep a hold of the dagger, Terra dove back down to check the area a bit more thoroughly. After a couple of dives, all she managed to find, in addition to the dagger, was a rusty old key. Not really worth it, but she might as well keep it. Swimming back to the shore, Terra headed for her stuff.

After a couple of dives, all she managed to find, in addition to the dagger, was a rusty old key. Not really worth it, but she might as well keep it. Swimming back to the shore, Terra headed for her stuff.

Exiting the pool, it looks like the rats have torn through the carcass, with a group of smaller rats having come out from the hole in the ground. Sebastian's rope, which was tied around the horse's neck, goes slack. The rats chewed and ate nearly 10' of rope.

Searching the other holes reveals nothing but animal bones and refuse.

So, where do you two head to now?

After a thorough searching for anything to remember his unlucky companion by, Sebastian quietly shrugs and turns to his other companion... who seems to have gone missing... Seeing a pile of her clothes on the ground, he simple resigns himself to squatting the area. Recoiling his ropes, he cannot help but grumble at the amount he lost.

At the end of his task, Sebastian spends a bit of his time skipping stones on the surface of the water. That was true until Terra broke the surface of said water. For a few moments, Sebastian's time was spent adimire her body before he quickly began to admire a small patch of dirt he began to dig with one of his arrows. "Nice swim I hope?"

xxx"Say anything and you're dead." Terra threatened as she dried and redressed. Now that she was out of the water and Sebastian had most certainly seen her, she was noticeably on the defensive, and he'd better not call her bluff, because she could spare a few magic missiles.

Sitting there while rocking back-and-forth and whistling a small tune, ".... So.... What's the clarity like in the water? Oh and by the way, our companion is dead. Not even a scrap left of him to bury. I dug a small hole, buried a rock, used an arrow as a marker, and even sang a song. You might want to say a few words before we go."

It was a longshot, but eh. As for Von, she hadn't really known him, so what could she say about his death? Not much, really.

xxxWell, looked like they hadn't found much in this area. She had found a dagger and a key, and they were now down one person due to giant rats. This was not going well. Making sure all her things were accounted for, Terra placed the key and ornate dagger into her backpack and headed out to the next location on the map with Sebastian.

The problem I was having is that Hyena's rather stupid plan of movement was on his locked photobucket account, So I don't know where you all want to go.

But fine, we'll go to the next closest site.


Carrying on and generally pretending that Sebasitan didn't see her in the buff, Terra heads up into the mountains and they begin to search the second area, to which they find well, nothing. Heading even farther into the mountains (as it begins to start heading into late afternoon now, with the sky beginning to darken to a slight orange tinge in between the deep blue sky), Terra and Sebastian can hear a man calling out for them. Motioning over to them, it seems to be a moderately well dressed man that looks rather ragged and bruised.

He says "Hurry, please! There's been an accident and I need help!"
