Kalsypher glanced up at the new approach and stood, quietly rubbing his fingers together. There was nothing building between them, no chakra or signature, but deeper in the tunnels the sound of violence suddenly ended. He tilted his head, red/pink hair falling across his face and shoulders as he watched the large man. Gosh. He was certainly large for a man in this area...not that Kalsypher could talk. They were both nearly the same height so as he straightened, they were nearly eye to eye "Tiago." he greeted him, friendly and polite "Kalsypher Jaeger. I'm not looking for the owner of tunnels. I am seeking information." his voice was quite friendly despite the absolute destruction behind him. It was obvious he hadn't done the destruction out of rage "I am seeking an audience with someone who can put me in contact with a group of people. Or who can direct me to them." he gave a small bow, his hand going out wide to his side. The pale skin of his fingers stuck out in the dim tunnel, his filthy clothing merely cloaking him further "I am of Kirigakure. And seeking shelter from the consequences of my actions." he didn't know if anyone would recognize him. He truly hoped he'd make it to his destination before then and had left himself in such a state as to ensure he could. His hair, his skin, all of it was different from what he had been in Kirigakure. Hopefully, this Tiago was not one who knew of his former occupation.

An information request from a strangely hue haired man? Yet he spoke in generalities, naming not anyone or anything in particular. Was he on guard simply because he was a shinobi from a main village? In terms of raw chakra power, the shinobi would lead the way, but Tiago filled the other realm, of physical ability. Perhaps he stated his military identity to provide a basis for conversation. In any case, publicly talking about shinobi while being occupied by the United Hidden Villages was a recipe for disaster. "Mister Jaeger," Tiago breathed out a small puff of carbon laced air, "This is not a safe area to do this." Staring down slightly at Kalsypher, the large man's cold eyes showed no emotion other than annoyance. Annoyance at having to come down here into the tunnels, where even now the walls and grime and soot all threatened to dirty his attire. Annoyance that even now, UHV spies might be listening in enough to catch drift of a village-bound shinobi, and raid his nightclub later. In some circumstances, being the physically largest man in Giman had its advantages, but certainly not now. Kalsypher might understand if he ever had a similar experience in this small world. Kalsypher tilted his head curiously at Tiago, wondering where a safe area would be considered. This place was filled with violent and angry people fighting and stealing and killing other violent and angry people. But if the large man wanted him to go somewhere else, then else where he would go. Following the right tunnel and the large man, he shuffled after the man.

Noctis arrived at the tunnels, he had heard many things about this place and decided to be cautious. Even though he received the info he was looking for it could all be a trap. He activated his Disruption technique, he would not be able to be sensed by anyone unless they were a sensor his rank. And he knew zero. He created a shadow clone and let it go for him instead the shadow clone would also be receiving the benefits of the actived fuin.. It knew what needed to be done while he waited. And it was just as powerful as him. The shadow clone nodded and left him and entered the tunnels. The clone slowly walked through the tunnels being cautious of anything that could happen.

It seemed these tunnels were not as bad as he had originally heard. He could see the path lighten up ahead as he continued walking. Finding a nice dark area the clone changed into a different attire.

As they reached the bottom of the steep staircase, the group would be greeted with several lit torches leading down a dark tunnel in the form of a half arch. Once houou heard all of the footsteps stop begin him he turned and trusted that atsukos eyes were scanning the area ahead of them all.
“well this is it everyone. We need only press forward and begging hunting for this UHV base of operations that Magnus wants us to investigate and put an end to. What the plan boss?”
Houou looked to Atsuko from behind his dark wooden mask, barely being lit by the flames of the torches.

Me and Asumo will cover as needed. This will be our standard formation well in the tunnels. If at all possible we hear movement we will slow our progress and only make noise when there is already background noise to cover it. Artemis stood in the front on the left as per Atsuko's instructions. "Aye, aye, cap'n," she said with a slight smile. It might be her last time to enjoy herself; if they failed in here, if they died on this mission, there was a chance the UHV would never be stopped, that Kumogakure wouldn't be enough on its own to divert UHV forces while attacking them straight on. It was only a chance, but Artemis wasn't much of a gambler.

Despite the presence of torches, the tunnels beneath Sasagi city were very poorly lit and very damp. The group would find few spots on the ground that were dry and an excess of puddles. The area wasn't a sewer, though a lot of refuse was rotting along the walls; the water dripped out of the walls near the ground, suggesting that it might have been groundwater or leaky plumbing contributing to the atmosphere. If anything, it looked--and smelled--like a very poorly maintained alleyway.
As the group got together and formulated their plans a couple of hobos shambled past. While there were plenty of side-paths to choose from, the main tunnel stretched away from the group in two directions. In one direction there was only silence and significantly less scum along the walls, without more than one or two sets of footprints visible, discounting the hobos'; in the other direction, if one listened really closely, there was the dull haze of a distant crowd of people all talking at once. The trash problem seemed to increase the farther one went in the direction of the sound.
Taketori nodded sagely to Atsuko's formation. It made sense. Taketori was not the scouting type, he would serve better as a shock trooper. Not to mention it seemed that Houou had knowledge of the area. Sister Sun Bird and the Brother Turtle would be capable of dealing with front-facing threats while Taketori could plug the gap. Of course, that did raise one question.
He stared intently at Shalamoana, as if to discern the very soul of the man. It was as he thought... It did not seem that the man saw an issue with his giant toucan's approach to the enclosed space. His mouth opened, then closed. It was... complicated. By a system of proxies, the toucan was a brother of a blood brother. He could not deny its right to the war band. Yet if he allowed it behind him, their rear would be vulnerable beyond belief. He would not be able to spot anything around the massive bird and the bird itself would be unable to turn around. Yet if he allowed it in front of him, the bird would block his line of sight to the rest and preclude him from seeing hand signals. He was not going to say anything then, though his face deep set with concern likely revealed his thoughts.
"I shall be the rearmost guard." He decided finally. "If you find yourself set upon by fists and blades, Substitute my body into harms way. They shall encounter the fateful bones of a Kaguya."
He stared into the tunnel, allowing his eyes to adjust. He looked back at the toucan. Back into the tunnel. Refuse was running down the walls and there was no way the toucan, at its current size, was going to avoid acting as a literal feather duster for the trash and refuse piling up. With that, Taketori would allow the others to enter before assuming a rear position. With luck Shazwanga would find some way to become less of a total tunnel stoppage. Else wise, he was going to have to rely on their cover being so totally breached that Brother Atsuko would begin shouting orders or for one of the others to offer up his body to any incoming attacks all of a sudden. It did not make Taketori feel at ease with only those options.
Shalamoana had noticed that he was being stared at. He had been told as a child it was rude to stare at people however he would not beat Taketori for it. They were friends after all. It was also rude to beat friends with the intent to harm them though a bit of good friendly wrestling was fine.
As Taketori stared so Shalamoana stared back trying mostly to work out why exactly was so interesting. It wasn't until Taketori spoke that he fully understood the reason. Clearly Taketori recognised that Shalamoana was key to this plan's (whatever it was) success and that he and Shazwanga could not afford to be hurt in these tunnels. He wanted to admonish him as he knew Shazwanga could easily handle himself but he remained silent. He would not be ungrateful for the concern of his fellows.
"Onwards then brothers." Shalamoana announced in a measured loudness taking his position in the back behind Shazwanga but in front of Taketori.
