Status: "It's Complicated" With Thalion's Lewenharto AKA Renaissance Pride: Kizingo'Zaa Rank: Head Merchant Personality: Magpie's that mother who makes you shake in your boots. She's got a mean streak, but she's very loving. She's also very quirky, and enjoys a good shiny object or two. -- Family -- Parents: Unknown Siblings: Has an unnamed brother. Children: First Litter - Shalev; Direstraight, Engana; Canary, Mzaha; Mockingbird, Cygnus; Black Swan, Pidgeon, ??? -- History -- Magpie was born Fiedel to the same pride Cinaed was; a Celtic/Viking-esque pride. However she stayed longer then he did. The brutal leader he had challenged was over run and a new hierarchy stepped in. A monarchy, lead by a queen they'd call Mutter. There was games to instill her stomach with a batch of cubs, Fiedel's brother won the games. However he only did to stop a courting between a brute and Fiedel. In the end the Mutter gave him an ultimatum; something unknown to Fiedel at the time. However it more or less likely was that he'd court the Mutter or Fiedel would be given to an old brute who'd do an adolescent's body no good. Instead of doing so her brother killed the Mutter and was exiled along with Fiedel. Both having to change their names and go their ways. Magpie was given the name because of her pelt; being in the shade of a Magpie bird. She roamed the lands selling little trinkets to prides. But when she stumbled upon Shandor/Riddlemouth, the leader of the Gypsies. She caved in and joined with him. Spending her days in the pride was rather lonely, and months after joining she sought out a prince to steal into the pride. A handsome lion was on his way to sleep when a young Magpie wrapped a rope around him and woke him up by tugging him towards the Gypsy Pride. And though smaller, Magpie did so. She caught Lewenharto, a lion who is very awkward with romance. However they grew an attachment and became each others' shadows. Barely ever separated. However their parents did love each other at one point. Kathane came out looking how the pride wanted them to. Dark colours, an almost flawless black coat and a dark mane. He was pushed into learning how to be a leader he was not born to be. However, Kathane came out mostly white. With only a saddle of black and half a tail. Afraid of the outcome the pride began to secretly find a way to banish her. The only issue was: Kathane and Katori acted like twins usually do. They developed their own language to speak to one another. Even a glance to one another ensured understanding. Their parents or any pride mates couldn't get them to separate. When they were old enough to understand. Kathane was given an ultimatum; leave without Katori or leave with him. Kathane went through this choice over and over again. Knowing that in the end she was only hurting Katori. She told him in secret, and without thinking twice the two of them left their pride forever. Both without knowledge of what has happened to their parents. Later in their time they began to connect to another wondering rogue, a blind older lion named Kivuli Faraji. Barsia Full Image-- General -- Name Meaning: Unknown but it's a female's name KEKKEKE. Status: Taken by Saint Sergio (Fee)'s Khalela Pride: Chokwe Rank: Chisou Personality:He's very shy towards females, though he works with mainly females as a caretaker/healer. He's a bit of a wimp but somethings he will let others know what he feels on those 'things'. -- Family -- Parents: Unknown and he doesn't bother to know Siblings: Unknown. That'd be interesting! Adoptive: Father Kinnison -- History -- Barsia only remembers Kinnison's caretaking when he was young, learning herbs and such. He was abandoned by his parents at the door step of Chokwe, a young cub barely even weened. It was obvious that he hadn't been taken care of well by his parents as he was scrawny and not well built. Barsia grew up to be a well-versed healer, and caretaker to the Chokwe. However he couldn't ever hurt a fly, unless he accidentally sat on it. Barsia has grown to be quite small, at least the size of a larger lioness. His mate, who's story as to why they're together is still in the fog, stands at the same height as him.
