I competitive breed mostly random pokemon I have an OU team I like that I'm going to breed (I just need the power band to ev them >_>)
OH! The hatch I'm most proud of is a 31/31/31/31/31/x Shiny goomy! it only took 22 eggs!
I love goomy <3

Oh wow, only 22 eggs?! That's pretty friggen awesome!
I wish I had that kind of luck, but of course the things that I want shiny take forever to hate, lol. It took me like 200+ eggs to get a shiny tyrunt... only to have the HA ability just get released. emo

But as for IRL stuff I'm still working on my degree and working just less our so i don't get over stressed out : P

Yeah, well I guess trick room is one way for it to be somewhat effective. Sucks that it takes x4 damage from practically every form of priority in the game minus gale wing attacks and quick attack.

In short there is a major production issue with amiibos at the moment.
The second generation of amiibos has a much more limited supply than their generation one counter parts.
This generation also contains more "fan favorites" like Pit, Villager, Captain Falcon, and others.
Due to this limited quantities paired with the popularity, people will buy them at the regular $12.99 price and sell them online at an extremely inflated price.

My personal favorite is Villager which is currently $89.99.
And my "main" or character that I use the most Sheik, is $22.99 which is still to rich for my blood.

And now you know the story of Nintendo's Amiibo mess and the pain I feel that I can't waste my money on a semi-meaningless collection I want~<3

For example in smash bros, you can use the amiibo to fight against you and the chip inside the amiibo will learn how to fight against you.
Other games like Mario kart will let you get extra characters and other goodies.
