There was a pause after Rasali spoke, where Kursha kept his eyes locked on hers. Then he threw his head back and laughed. The muzzle of the rifle dipped towards the ground. “Wow! You really don't get it, do you? Zeff must have fried some brain cells up there.” He sneered down at her. “It's not about me. It's about the principle of the thing. Apparently the message didn't get through your thinkpan though, huh?”

Pulling away, Kursha turned his back to Rasali. He walked two paces. He was confident that she would not try anything. She was too simple-minded for that.

“You want an answer?” Kursha echoed, still facing away. There was a metallic click.

“You're dead wrong.”

Dead being the operative word.
