A smirk formed as soon as he heard the snap, his fingers tightening around his own abused stick as he rested back on his heels. Victory! As expected he thought arrogantly to himself while watching Amber curiously. Again? She wanted to play more, but why...she had lost.

Slven blinked softly and chuckled of course he would accept a redo just, it was getting really hot out here and he hated to be out longer than really needed. Plus he had won, maybe postponing the next battle would encourage Amber to get better. His eyes trailed over the girls smaller frame as she started to look for a stick without waiting for an answer, snorting softly he tossed his own stick to the ground. Offering moments later, "we can play stick fight again later, I'm going to something to drink you can come or stay here." His tone was firm though the underlined challenge was presented in the word later. With that Slven grinned to the girl and started towards the ship leaving her to make her own choice, curious to see which it would be.

... Later? Later... later... She tossed the word over in her mind, trying to analyze it. Even after a bit of though she wasn't entirely clear on it's meaning, but she understood enough to know that later meant 'not now', and that didn't make her remotely happy. He couldn't just win and leave like that! It wasn't fair! And now he was walking away without her. There was a word for what he should be called, but for some reason she couldn't find it in her vocabulary... "I will win," she said to the black-haired Genome with determination, though she made no move to follow him back to the ship. He had distracted her from her earlier exploring of this 'outside' place, and if he was going to be a... uh.... if he was going to leave then she might as well get back to having fun her own way, thank you. 'Later' she would get him back for that stick-fight, whenever 'later' was.
