Failing a second time, Scar-Hide grew exhausted as his rage left him, sitting down against the wall, slumped over and breathing heavily.
In time, his companions showed up and his energy returned to him. Rising to his feet, Scar-Hide knew they had to get behind that door.

"Little ******** fled behind this door, I had some trouble getting it open, but we're getting in!", with that Scar-Hide returned to another attempt at getting it open with a more clear head this time.

Serena was still fairly pissed about the crossbow shot, but she was smart enough to know that a door can often be burned, even if it can't be broken. Waiting to see if Scar-Hide's latest attempt succeeds, she readies herself for another breath of flame.

Am I going to be regretting letting you play a dragonfire adept if you're going to attempt to set every single thing you come across, from villagers to mountain caves, on fire?

Serena approached the opening, her eyes still glowing gold. "I'd suggest standin' aside, gentlemen." She knew that Gazjik likely wouldn't understand her words, but her eyes alone spoke volumes.

Two goons were waiting right in the doorway, where they lance the first dumb b*****d that walks through the door. Being Scar-hide. Who takes 6 damage.

As he stepped forward, taking the lead into the cave, Scar-Hide tried to be alert, but he was still caught off-guard by two men armed with spears. One of which managed to catch him and get a decent strike on him, stabbing a bit into his side an inch or so. Letting out a growl of aggravation, Scar-Hide turned to respond with an attack.

Serena cautiously moved forward after hearing Scar-Hide's growl. She may not have been in the greatest of moods, but that didn't mean she couldn't think clearly. Seeing him get speared, she figured they were in for close-quarters combat, so she hooked her crossbow on her hip and armed herself with her trusty quarterstaff.

Reacting quickly to the attack against him, Scar-Hide swung his mighty flail with a vengeance at his aggressor. Finally having enough room to stand and fight effectively, he was more comfortable and able to get a good swing.

(Since Draco is AWOL, and Cow gave me the ok, here comes the lizardman to do...something haha.)

Catching sight of the attack from just behind Serena, Gazjik grabbed his mace and pushed past her. From the fresh and violent splatter that now coated Scar Hide's chest and face, the cleric felt it safe to assume that the goliath slew his foe with ease. That left at least one more, at least from what he'd noticed. Unfortunately, with Scar Hide just beyond the threshold into the room, Gazjik wouldn't be able to push his way in. However, though it would be difficult, he could still reach his target. Mace gripped tight in his scaled hand, he took a swing.
