Oh, I'm never posh when I drink wine. I just exaggerate and talk in a horrendously snobby "English" accent. You know, the kind that would make a Brit like you wince.

Well, I dunno about that. Some Brit accents are pretty bad. You should hear me try to sound posh. I sound like I ran into a wall and relocated my nose.

The only accent I can do fairly is Manchester. Manc is one funky accent.

That's true. Only one I can do is Birmingham, but that's probably because I live there.

At least you don't do a d**k Van Dyke style English accent, like every American thinks you have.

I realized, I totally have a thing for various accents. And it's not even in the "Oh hey, you're not from around here, are you?" way, it's actually in the way that certain sounds are softened or stressed that just absolutely fascinates me. eek
