My black friends growing up LOVED my hair because for "white girl hair" it was easy for them to french braid.

French braiding your own hair sucks. When Mario had longer hair, I was getting really good at plaiting his hair.

But I learned how to do them when I was in marching band but it took a long time to get them to be neat and not bumpy.

Of course, every red blooded guy always looks at a girl and asks himself, hmm I wonder if she can french braid her hair. No, no, no that actually never crosses a guy's mind. Many other things perhaps but can she french braid her own hair, no.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaah. I grew up with the knottiest hair ever. I could do nothing with it, so I never learned how to do anything with it because any time I or my mother tried to do anything with my hair, it ended up with us cutting a giant mat out of it.

So now I teach kids half my age who can do their hair 100x better than me. It's kinda demoralizing.

I know how to do braids but a FRENCH braid...?
Mmmmm... yeah. Nope. Not a clue.
Guess I fail at bein' a gurl too.

Also, I find that french braids don't look that great on everyone.
I think it depends on the type of hair/the shape of the face.
Hence why I've never gotten into horse riding! :D

I tried doing cornrows in Stephen's hair the other day. I failed. I can just do regular braids. Don't much care for putting in the effort anyways. Plus french braids look ridiculous on me and I don't think they suit most.
