He wouldn't have looked at all out of place on the hunting forums I go on if his pic had been posted there, looks a lot like many of the whipxjacks that are knocking about as bushing dogs. smile he does kinda look like the first one Biggest difference is that your dog is smooth coated and the one in the pic is rough coated...but there are smooth and rough JRTs so that would make sense. Their torsos may also look a little different, but don't forget that the dogs in the pics are posted are very fit, yours could be trimmed down to that shape also. smile
