I did! I did!

There's this girl in my biology class. No one really talks to her much. In fact, I don't think they talk to her at all. She's one of those girls who completely forget what the teacher's talking about and pulls out a book to read (this gets extremely annoying in band, I'll tell you that, x3). Well, today, I decided to talk to her. We actually talked about books, xD Artemis Fowl, I believe. Yes. The fourth one. She told me about it and I listened (she's got a reeeeeeally soft voice, so it was hard). xD I told her that even though have all the books at home, I've never read them. I asked her if she wanted to borrow the 5th one so that she didn't have to go to the library when she's done with the 4th. When she agreed, I told her she could borrow the rest of them as well (as long as she gave them back). The book thing was completely unexpected though. I really only meant to have a small chat with her.

Mhmm, ^^; I intend to. She mentioned that she read all my favorite books. Plus, she likes manga and anime, <3

Oh, really? I always love meeting someone that enjoys the things you do. heart It makes it funner to talk to them. There's always something to discuss. That's great for the both of you. :D

I always talk to the kind of "geeky" shy kid that others mock because, well, I was the "geeky" shy kid!
All anyone really needs to get out of their shell is a friendly hello and a big ol' smile.
My sweetie was the first to really treat me like an equal, despite being about a thousand rungs lower on the "social ladder," and so that really really helped build my confidence and, subsequently, my group of friends. <3 Now I'm a freaking loud-mouth that gets "distracts class" on grade reports...and my bestie and I shout "LET'S GET NEKKID" in the locker rooms e'ry day after practice sooo...

Speaking of Artemis Fowl;

PS: I always find it awkward when anime obsessed people talk about anime because I'm not obsessed with it so I'm like: sorry what? D:
