This thread is to hopefully be an eternal thread that ask the simple question,"How is/was your day today?" You can post an answer for every day and discuss and talk to others about their days here. Basically a daily thing you can do to hopefully spur talk and get closer to knowing each other and that nature.

Shopping gone awry is the worst. @___@ I hatehatehate shopping for bathing suits. They leave me feeling fat and ugly when I can't find anything that fits. D: Well...that seems to be happening more and more when I try on anything, which is frigging ridiculous.

Well my day isn't over yet so it's subject to change but so far it's going great. Class was a breeze if not a little bit of bore (and it's only 50 minutes long! what the crap!). I went with Will to eat some foodz and get a phone card. We explored the campus book store which has tons of wonderful goodies to look at. heart I'm going to the movie "Across the Universe" tonight with some friends, and Lillian is coming to SFU so I can get her dinner with my meal plan. XD haha. Good day indeed!

Yesterday was frigging awesome too. Our floor had a Grey's Anatomy viewing/Karaoke (avec booze ohohoho) party last night, and it was a blast! These people are so much fun. whee

I hatehatehate clothes shopping as well. I may be skinny, but I'm a girl. That means hips. I have 12 inches difference between my hips and waist, which means if I get pants big enough to go over my hips they gap at the waist and show my a** if I bend over. If I get them to fit my waist, they nearly split the seams at my hips and make me look like a hoochie slut. xp

Basically, the only pants I like are my bondage pants, because they have little adjustable tabs at the waist. (Just like Eleanor's toddler clothes... lol ) But of course I can't wear them all the time. (My mom has forbidden me to wear them around her - even though I'm 24...) I usually just wear skirts, 'cause they have elastic at the waist and a bunch of extra material at the hips.

In other news, my day was pretty good. It started out crappy though. I drove all the way to Skiatook, which is about 30 minutes one way, to pick up my husband's paycheck. But when I got there the bastards told me it wasn't ready yet and maybe if I came back at about 5:00 it would be ready. They gave me some BS about transferring everything over to a new system and it all had to be entered by hand. But they've had Gary's timecards since Wednesday; couldn't they have finished it before now? Or waited until after they printed out the checks to start the new system? If I don't get the check in the bank before 2:00 it doesn't go through until Monday, but I need money tomorrow! Bastards. So I just had to take some out of savings to pay for gas and groceries and stuff. mad

But after that, Mom took me to the fair. It was great. We had corndogs, and pretzels with cheese, and cotton candy. Eleanor rode a pony, and I took her on a rollercoaster with me (she loves them as much as I do!), and we saw the moon from the top of the Ferris Wheel. And I got my hair cut and dyed recently, so I even felt somewhat pretty. And Gary is home from work - he's been gone for 3 days! - so that makes me happy too.

But after that, Mom took me to the fair. It was great. We had corndogs, and pretzels with cheese, and cotton candy. Eleanor rode a pony, and I took her on a rollercoaster with me (she loves them as much as I do!), and we saw the moon from the top of the Ferris Wheel. And I got my hair cut and dyed recently, so I even felt somewhat pretty. And Gary is home from work - he's been gone for 3 days! - so that makes me happy too.

The whole entire Eleanor part is an "aww" moment. I may be a guy but ya, good stuff. 3nodding

Anyways today was a wild. Was on here, played some poker, and did some stuff on a game I played. Surprising stuff but I won't get into details. Then did some frat work as Friday to Sunday is frat times (always). I went to a meeting at 4:00. Found out they left to go shopping and didn't tell me so I went after them but I got there too late and they just passed me so chased after them to the next store. Then went shopping at Home Depot. That was rough in its own right. Then tried to multitask to the max but the wind was SOO powerful and SOO much that lots of wind + cool weather - jacket = COLD! So I was cold all day today. However we finally figured out this thing we are making for the big dance next weekend so that was very accomplishing plus I finally am stepping up as a good leader should and doing my job so I feel accomplished. I only have 7 weeks left as the head of my frat so I figured I should end in a bang. Its going good I think.

And voila, another day in the life of a frat boy. I'll fill ya in on Saturday and Sunday stuff when I come back Sunday.

EDIT: I also made this thread and one other and I feel pretty proud of the idea. I'm now thinking of one or two more good ones that cover different topics of common (yet good) talk. Hmm...

It's been a good day I think.

Yeah - they f#&#xke;d up the sizes!
I'm usually between a 14 & 16 (14's are just a little too tight, 16's are a little too big *there's no 15 in pants*) So I usually grab both a 16 & 14.

Well, I went into the changing room with some cool jeans that I liked (it's hard to find jeans that I actually *like* - but I had to get new ones since my old fav. pair of jeans went missing)
So I go to try on the 14's.
.... they don't even make it to my hip before not fitting.
So I sigh thinking 'okay - maaaybe I've gained some weight' - and grab the 16's
The 16's fall just short of my hip before getting stuck, with no hope of it closing.
;_; So now I'm feeling REALLY horrible about myself.
So I sigh again, thinking I saw an '18' on the rack as well, so I call to my mom and ask her to grab 'em. (I never EVER go shopping in that store alone - because when I do, all the stores people keep bugging me 'can I help you?' 'Can I find something for you?' 'Can I put those in a changeroom for you?' ... I hate people bothering me when I shop for clothes.)
So she goes and grabs me the 18.
They do the same thing as the 16's. And I felt like crying. (yes - lame - I know - but I'm a girl, I'm allowed to be stupidly girly sometimes)
And I hand them to my mom,and tell her I'm done with clothes shopping.
She takes a look at them - and compairs them to the 16's - and they're the same size.
So she tells the stores clerk, and then she wants me to try on some other jeans - though I really don't want to. Finally I say fine. And grab a 16 from a differnt rack.

- this time, it fits. It's actually a little bit too big.
'Mom - can you grab me the 14's please?'
And I put them on, and they fit. ^.^
And I walk out of the change room, to show my mom as she's talking to the store clerk
'See? Same manufacturer, and the 14's fit me perfectly, but those - so called 18's don't.'
So yeah ... And I bought a new dress shirt as well.


Anyways- that was yesterday! rofl Today, so far, has been pretty good - though it's not over yet. I still need to drop off some material at Pixie's house. And yeah ... Today should be pretty normal. 3nodding

Hokay, we had the biggest mix-up ever yesterday going to that movie.

First off: The bus stop. I was waiting at the side where people get off, and Lillian came a few minutes before I arrived so she sat down where people get on. So we ended up waiting for each other only a few feet away for about 15 mins. I tried to call, but I had entered her number wrong into my cell phone. D:
Second: We were hungry, so we reallllly had to eat. But we had to tell this other girl who we were meeting that we were going to be late. She doesn't have any kind of phone. D: So t hat led to walking all the way to the bus stop and back before finding her 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave. We went for food anyways.
Third: After eating, like 10 minutes to 6:30, Lillian realizes she left her bus pass in her bag in my room! (doesn't keep it in her wallet D: ) So I gave her my keys while me and the other girl just stayed where we were. After about 10 minutes, I was like "It really shouldn't take her this long to come back...." and I had this feeling she just went straight to the bus stop (which she did), but she ran back and met up with us. XD

Sooo we were supposed to be there at 6:55, we didn't even leave campus until 6:45 and it takes like 20 minutes by skytrain to get there! Eeeeeek. So late, so we were like "let's try for the later show" but that wasn't till 10:15! It was a no-go for that trip. :B

So I woke up and it was alright so far. My officers took FOREVER to get ready so that pissed me off. I left 2 out of the 5 behind to go to our event today. Once there all went good til I realized "Oh snap, I gotta speak soon." So I got escorted up and eventually did my speech along with the 3 other leaders of the frats and sororities of the state that coop with each other. All the speeches were good even mine. However I did not like the delivery of my speech so I think it sucked but ah well. What are you gonna do right? Meh, c'est la vie.

But now I owe my parents money. I hate owing them money. I hate owing money period. emo

Went to lunch with my parents & my Aunty Larel today, then went to a bottle run.

So yeah. Pretty okay day.

so far...... i had.. well lets read word this.... i made love a few times (its true...) watched adult swim on tv.... ate some homemade spaghetti thats the s**t... i never made better spaghetti... and in about a hour i will be going to work with jason and going somewhere to eat before he has to be at work... hopefully it will be TGIF.. they have really good food.
