Sienna had minimal issues finding her new living situation. With her key, she unlocked the door to find two beds, some dressers, desks, and a sink with a mirror. She was going to have a roommate! Sienna was giddy. She chose the bed by the window, preferring to have a wall next to her. What if she were to fall out one night? The girl had terrible nightmares sometimes... Sienna forced herself not to think about that, however. This was to be an awesome day.
She began unpacking, setting her school stuff out on her desk and her clothes in the dresser and in the closet. Sienna also made her bed: which namely consisted of a pink and grey color scheme, which she simply adored. Her main focus, however, went to her pokeball. Unable to wait any longer, she opened the ball. Out of it came a small grey and red dog. "Awwww! You're so cute!" She was glad it wasn't something like a Panchamp, or something massive. Houndoom didn't get bigger than grown humans, did they? Sienna couldn't imagine they would be able to. This was perfect! The Houndour investigated its surroundings before climbing up onto the bed and sitting by her trainer."I'm gonna call you Honey. How's that sound?" The Houndour seemed content with the name. It was such a cute name for such a dark pokemon, but Sienna didn't care. Deciding to relax a little before Orientation, Sienna carefully removed her prosthetic, setting it on the ground by her bed before sprawling out over her bed. It was nice to let her leg breathe a little. Sienna just knew that this year was going to be awesome.

Standing outside the door, Lex took several breaths. The teenager wondered, not for the first time, how they could have enough guts to mace a teacher and throw down with neighborhood bullies and Arcana grunts if needed but the simple act of opening a door proved to be sisyphean in comparison. I don't want to, I don't want to. F-ck I really don't want to. It wasn't as if girls were particularly scary, they reasoned with themselves. Guys could be just as mean and catty, if not more. Lex knew better than to think gender made you one way or the other. But none of that knowledge seemed to make them want to walk in any more. They still felt like this was an ill fit, and now were wondering..what if the girls also felt the same way? What if they made comments? Why couldn't Lex just sleep outside with the pokemon? Aw quit your whinin Lex, they told themselves, shaking the thoughts away. Who cared really, who cared if the girls were mean. Lex was here to learn. They knew who they were. Everyone else could go screw the houndoor. Stepping into the room, Lex realized the expression might have been some sort of provenance. "Well hi" they said smiling at the houndoor, their bad mood lifting a bit at the sight of the pokemon. You didn't grow up with Rangers without learning to love all pokemon after all. "what's your name doggo?" Lex didn't notice the person sitting in one of the beds, frisk however did, and proceeded to bump his trainer with one knobby arm. "Ow Frisk wha-oh..um..hi?" they said finally noticing they weren't alone. "aaare you my room-mate?"
