It's debatable if this is a sign of maturity or a defect in the child/young teenage boy. William will often keep to himself but likes to torment his big sister because of the funny faces she makes, at least whenever he can see her. He often just observes everything and always has a calm face when doing so. The poker face that adorns this young male's face is normally the same expression that can be visualized within the lovely photo on the upper right-hand corner. William is by no means interested in one's gossip, idle chit chat or what have you. Prefers solitude, peace, and quiet, though it is not as if he won't stir some trouble. Violence and trouble are not a color that the male likes to adorn but it will often find him in cases that are not desirable.
He only partakes of any activity that catches his interest which has often associated him as being a bit picky.

xxxxxxxx☇ At the age of five, William’s only sister had went off to an academy in some unknown region, at least in his eyes. Their elder brother was usually out of the house but would still come far more often to look after the young boy. At five years there wasn’t much he could do for himself. He could watch, talk, listen, and be a part of the grand world around him. But he wasn’t all that interested in diving headfirst. He was far more interested in staying on the sidelines and just watching how things play out. Certainly he would intervene occasionally just to see what would happen, and that sometimes caused a few scratches and there. One could say William was adventurous for his age but he was just responding to what he saw. The kid wasn’t much of a talker so it was difficult to know what he was thinking. In fact, even as a kid he didn’t converse with the other adults and kids. The kid would much rather go off to a dark corner of a room and just watch everyone. Yes, it could be considered creepy and antisocial of a boy at his age but he felt more at home doing so then participating in being social. William didn’t quite understand the point of socializing. Certainly his elder siblings taught him both sides of the coin. The elder brother taught the boy the positives of socializing. One can network, spend time with a group, have ‘fun’ as his brother would say, and not seem alone. His sister taught him the bad. Her classmates bullied her due to her love of Pokémon. She placed more emphasis with a connection with non-human creatures than the ones that were in her classroom. The sister didn’t communicate much with others, with the exception of family. It seemed like she was trying to socialize with others but that was more so because of big brother’s intervention.

When big sis left all William had was his brother and the occasional visits from the adults. The adults were his parents but he didn’t feel much of a connection with them. He was sure that his sister and brother felt the same way. He had actually contemplated going off to the same school as Alana but there wasn’t much time to be thinking that. For it wasn’t all that long till he noted his brother slowly fading away from the family. His brother had done his own thing and may have disappeared from time to time but he would always tell William when he would be back. But it came to the point where his brother would leave for days, weeks, and rarely…a month. For Victor to act this way was quite strange but the elder brother was by no means abandoning William. Victor would leave food or have a Pokémon come deliver necessities for William to continue living in the house. The young boy could see that his brother still very much cared for him but did not pry into the problems of ‘adults’.

A couple years went by and the Kalos region was the beginning of it all. It was the first region for Team Arcana to attack. William was about eight when the Kalos region fell and was adopted into the camps. The camps where they would brainwash children in order to have them serve Team Arcana. William had not stayed there for long and should you ask him as to how long he actually stayed there then you might as well go ask someone else. He doesn’t talk about that day and much less divulges any information about that day. The lad can hardly remember how much time had passed during his stay there but he was certainly happy on the day he was rescued. William along with the parents that financed the family fled from region to region. It was during this time that communication to Alana was cut off and no one knew what happened to Victor. They could assume he had been fine as there were times a letter would flutter down onto William’s lap in his brother’s handwriting.

Sadly enough the war had brought the family closer. Perhaps out of the three children William was more exposed to spending more time with father and mother. The parents still went out to work within the regions in order to attain a secured income but the war was always nipping at their heels. They had to continually hop from one region to another in order to evade from Team Arcana. Thus making it quite difficult to settle down for too long. William would often transfer from school to school, home to home, land to land to the point where he found it difficult to keep connections with people from school. It became easier to be a distant individual than to get close to another. William didn’t hate people but he never really knew when he would have to go searching for another home, for another life.

It became natural to be on the constant move before the family would have to pack up their stuff and move out. Maybe their moving days had come to a stop when William found himself in a new school where their purpose was to put a stop to this war. His personal feelings towards Team Arcana was mixed but he remembered how he enjoyed peace and quiet as a kid. If he could somehow bring it back to his current time then it would be worth joining this school.

xxxxxxxx☇ Satsuki is a very shy girl, and often times will hide behind her childhood friend William. She doesn't mean to offend anyone because of this, and due to the fact that she uses William as a sort of protective shield people get annoyed with her. She usually never starts a conversation unless it's with William or someone that she has grown close to. Her biggest flaw other than being a klutz is being a cry baby. Satsuki has a very bad problem controlling her tears, and most of the time she is crying. This in turn makes her embarrassed, and again makes her seek out her childhood friend in order to help her calm herself down. What's worse is that she is very innocent, and oblivious to many things. She can say one thing, and mean an entirely different thing altogether. Often times this gets her into trouble, or gets her scolded for not being aware of the things she is saying. She tries her best at everything she does, but again she can be quite the crybaby at any given time.

xxxxxxxx☇ Satsuki is an only child, and has often times been spoiled by her parents. It wasn't always like this though, at a time she did have another sibling, an elder brother in fact. He was kind and strong, and Satsuki loved him more than anything in the world. They were close, and Satsuki would always cling to her brother when she had the chance. However, as the years went by her brother had no come back. There was a time she remembered when she was little that her parents were sad. Being so young she didn't realize what exactly they were sad about. When she turned seven she finally asked her parents again where her brother was, and why he hadn't been home in so long. Deeming that she was old enough, her parents told her the truth and stated that her brother had died in an accident three years ago. Satsuki took the news hard, and for days even weeks so would cry without end. Her parents tried to cheer her up, tried to bring back their happy little girl.

However, nothing they did seemed to work. It was to the point they had spoiled her rotten, and treated her like a baby. Often times Satsuki was bullied and teased for being a cry baby. Satsuki always ended up running away from her classmates, and seeking salvation at the castle gardens. No one usually bugged her there, considering she had found a more isolated area to use as her cry grounds. One day, the bullying was harsher than usual. They teased her about crying as usual, but even added in the fact that her brother would be so disgusted with her for crying the way she was. Again, she sprinted to the gardens and cried. She cried and cried, but this time she cried harder than she ever had before. That's when she heard a twig snap behind her. Surprised, she jumped up and turned to see a boy around her age staring back at her. Fear gripped her heart, as the tears continued to spill form her eyes. She cried a bit harder, and attempted to flee the area. She didn't want to be bullied anymore, and she didn't want to be put into a situation where someone would tell everyone else where she hid.

In her haste though, she tripped and flailed a bit loudly. She had only then noticed the rock that seemed to be laughing at her as she tripped over it. Her body seemed to soar forwards, and down towards the hill that was located under her. She yelped, and closed her eyes as she waited for the hard ground to hit her. However, to her surprised, she felt warm arms encircle her and bring her close. Whatever it was that had hugged her close, was now protecting her from the fall. After basically rolling down the hill with whatever was holding onto her, eventually they reached the bottom and came to a stop. She sniffled, before looking up and seeing stormy grey eyes. They were captivating actually, and for a moment she seemed lost in them. However, a groan from the person below her snapped her out of her trance.

She tilted her head to the side, and finally realized that another human being was under her. The boy from earlier had somehow managed to grab her, and hold her close as he shielded her body form the fall. Her eyes shimmered, before tears threatened to fall again. She cried loudly, hiccuping a bit as she buried her face into his chest. Her small hands balled into little fists as she cried out apologizes over and over again. The boy seemed to awkwardly hug her, reassuring her that it was fine and that he wasn't hurt.

After that incident occurred, Satsuki seemed to notice the boy who had helped her more often. She was surprised to see that he was actually in her class, but that also made her embarrassed as well. He probably thought she was pathetic just like everyone else. She teared up every time the thought came around. However, even though the others teased her, the boy didn't join in with them. It made her a bit curious as to why he didn't make fun of her as well. Everyone else seemed to like doing it. As time passed she learned the boys name was William Jiang. He didn't seem to be that into bullying other people, which was a relief to her. A year was a long time, and they had never really spoken much since he had helped her out that one time.

There were times where she had wanted to approach him and talk to him, however, every time she got the courage to do so she chocked and ended up crying about it. It was one day that everything changed. She was used to bullying yes, but for some reason it seemed like everyone was ganging up on her. They were taunting her, criticizing her, and again bringing her brother into it. She was crying, trying to flee but there was no where to go. She felt like she was suffocating, like she couldn't breath. The voices, there were so many voices shouting and laughing at her. She was shaking, and just when she felt like she was going to break something unexpected happened.

Someone had placed there arms around her ears and eyes, and lead her away from the area. She could feel something rest on her chin as the person directed her away form the voices. She continued to cry, like always as her hands clutched one of the persons arms desperately. Once the voices vanished, and the arms were removed from her head her eyes fluttered open slowly. Her glossy eyes slowly cleared to show that it had been William that had saved her. She cried more, trying to rub her tears away. Her lip quivered, before she ran straight towards William and wrapped her arms around his torso. She continued to cry, thanking him over and over again for helping her. Her body shook violently, and after that day they became closer friends.

William and Satsuki went to the gardens frequently after that, and talked about a lot of different things. Satsuki was glad to have met William, he was someone she could lean on and someone she could talk to without fear of being made fun of. Though most of the time William did make fun of her, he was still her best friend. She grew very fond of him, and even though she was still a clumsy crybaby it was nice to know that William always allowed her to cry in his arms. Their time together was fun, and a few more years passed. However, that's when team Arcana came. It all happened so fast, she was separated from her family, and she was taken away from her friend.

After being sent to a camp, Satsuki was all alone. She cried most of the time, only to get a beating or two for doing so. It was dark, and scary at the camp. Worst of all she was alone, she was so alone. It wasn't until a week or so later that she was reunited with William again. When she noticed him in the distance she immediately made a bee line towards him and tackled him. She hugged him closely crying and shaking her head as she released her inner pains. She refused to let him go after that, when she wasn't with him it was only because she was forced to separate from him. At night they shared a bed since the living space was too small to everyone there their own bed to sleep on. Not that Satsuki minded, she enjoyed the warmth and safety William brought her. The rhythm of his heartbeat was often the key to getting her to fall asleep.

They stayed like this for a few more years, and Satsuki was very dependent on William more so than she'd probably like to admit. However, one night everything changed. Satsuki didn't realize it before, but William and his elder brother had somehow managed to escape. At first, when Satsuki woke up and some an adult male carrying her she cried. When the man identified himself as Victor, Williams brother, she quieted a bit. She was still crying, after all she was separated from William again. Victor then explained that he was going to find her family for her, and so when he finally did he set off and left her.

Reunited with her family once more, Satsuki moved from place to place as her family tried to flee from Arcana's siege. There was a time when her parents grew wary of their travels, and were scared for Satsuki's safety. So when they heard about Starlight city, they immediately sent Satsuki there in hopes she'd have a better future. Satsuki cried a lot when she was taken to the school, and when she finally arrived she was told that many other students around her age were going to be attending here. After hearing this, she hoped that William would be attending as well. Maybe then she could feel at ease, and get her very close friend back.

He told her that the bear was there so that when he wasn't able to see her, that the bear would protect her while he was away. She ended up giving the bear the name 'Willy'.
