[Twilight Manipulation]: Moira can create, shape, and manipulate twilight, the mixed essence of light and darkness. She can manifest twilight in a variety of ways from creating weapons and shields to other objects, as well as manipulating 'twilight energy'.. And, to some extent, she is capable of manipulating light and darkness, due to this power being a combination of both. The best times for her to use this power are in the early morning, just before sunrise, and the late evening, just after sunset, due to an abundance of already existing twilight which she can 'channel' to save energy when she uses this power.
Until she masters this ability, it will be very weak against powerful light or darkness and easily overwhelmed by them. She also must keep them in balance when using twilight, or else her powers get unstable and can shrivel up or blow up in her face, which can be quite costly in terms of energy.
[Cutting]: So, this is entirely to do with her 'toy'. The scissors are sharp by themselves, but since coming to Wonderland, they've acquired an.. Interesting property. They can easily cut through hard substances now, though only when she uses them for it.. And she can ONLY do this with her scissors and they can't cut through everything. They seem like ordinary scissors most of the time, other than that. With time, she could learn a more advanced version of this, or a specialized form.
[Ability Mimicry]: She can mimic/replicate the powers/abilities of another person if they come within six feet of her. However, for a while, it will also happen automatically if a power is used on her, whether she wants it to happen or not. She can only copy up to three at a time, with the oldest being replaced by the newest. She cannot currently copy very strong powers. Additionally, some powers will always be impossible for her to replicate, such as 'almighty' powers.. And more volatile powers may injure her if she unknowingly attempts to use them. For powers that require a certain physical ability, while she can copy them, she can not use them as effectively if she lacks that physical ability, or some other necessary skill. (For example, a power that requires a great deal of physical strength would not be as effective if she copied and then used it.)
[Power Mastering]: She can master not only her own powers, but also the abilities she copies. Not just being proficient in their usage, but also able to understand every concept and possibility available. She may even be able to use a power in ways that normal users are not capable of, as well as become resistant to having her powers negated, among many other possibilities. This is both a combination of instinct, knowledge, and training with said power until she knows it well. She cannot instantly master an ability, it does take time and work.. And she currently cannot master a 'strong' power if she has copied it.

Personality: At first glance, Moira seems like a very stoic person. Quiet and unobtrusive, she prefers watching from the shadows over interacting with other people. She is highly observant and quite intelligent, with a good sense of judgement.. And a seeming lack of a conscience that has served her well. Logical and reasonable almost to a fault, though this does not mean she has no imagination. Far from it. She may hide behind an unfeeling mask, but she has a hidden sassy and playful side that few ever get to see.
Her sense of humor is normally fairly subtle and it can be hard to spot when she is serious or joking, unless one knows her very well. She normally thinks carefully about her every word before she speaks, having learned long ago that a few choice remarks can chase away nuisances faster than a blade.. And with less mess. Even though she can be difficult to get along with for most people, she is quite loyal to the very few of people she considers friends. She is also very conscious of her health and makes an effort to look after herself.
She is definitely a kind of person who does what she believes is necessary. No more, no less. She is very resourceful and adaptable, as well as being patient. Her actions are always precise, as she isn't in the habit of wasting movement or energy on something she deems pointless. There is a purpose to everything, the trick is figuring out what. She also isn't afraid to take a risk if she believes it is worth it. Safety only takes one so far, as she well knows.. Her curiosity will no doubt be her downfall one day.
Fears: It's.. Hard to say. Other than spiders. She also worries about Jack.
Bio: She does not ever speak of her past, except to say that it was rather nice. Her own way of putting it is very simple. All she says is that she was raised by her aunt and traveled a lot while growing up before she was put into a private school. For the most part, she has always kept to herself, so there hasn't been any need to go into much more detail than that. If lies get one caught out, she keeps close to the basic facts of her life. Not lying, but she omits many details.

Moira would say that her life was neither particularly good nor bad. As far as she is concerned, it has been fairly good compared to how it could be. Her parents didn't really care for her. No, they were too wrapped up in their own lives and dealing with their failing marriage to be bothered about their daughter. What ever love they had shared when they were married had turned into hate by the time she was two. Yet, for some unfathomable reason, they were not getting a divorce.
She did get lucky though. She had an aunt who took her away from that situation. She always payed attention to what was going on with her family.. And she doted on the children especially. She 'convinced' her sister and her husband to let her take care of little Moira.. That is what Moira believes really prevented her life from turning out too horrible. She was raised by her aunt along with her cousin, Serena. Life seemed fun and happy during this time. Many little fun events, playing games together.. There was no lack of love or caring in her life, at least not from them. She never saw her parents and virtually forgot about them within a month.
There was something else as well. Her aunt, and she and her cousin, traveled a lot, ever since she was small. Sometimes having to leave a town quickly. And she wasn't allowed to go to school like other kids. Both she and Serena were being homeschooled.. Later, she would realize a lot of the things they were learning were definitely not things most kids would be. Sure, their basic education was covered. Moira was a little mad scientist when she was a child, always mixing up different things. Luckily, nothing exploded, but she did manage to make a really nice moisturizer once. Other than that, she also learned a lot about more.. Violent things.
When she was ten, she found out that her aunt was.. A contract killer. And that she had been teaching them these things to make sure they would be able to protect themselves if anyone tried to kill them. How her aunt even found the time to raise two girls is beyond her understanding now, but she somehow did it. And was even able to keep both lives separate for a shockingly long time.. So Moira had a pretty good upbringing, up until, well.. Murder began getting involved, but that only happened in more recent years.. After Serena was kidnapped.
It was only after her cousin disappeared that things began to take a turn in her life. She was extremely close to Serena. The two girls were like sisters.. In fact, they even resembled each other enough to pass for sisters, which was something their aunt did have them do pretty often. After her cousin had disappeared, the formerly friendly and outgoing child began changing.. Turning quieter, more reserved.. Less prone to emotional outbursts. She even convinced her aunt to allow her to help with 'missions'. While looking for Serena, of whom they never found a single trace. It was like she just disappeared off the face of the planet.
Eventually, when she was sixteen, Moira received an invitation to a school known as Kuoh Academy. A school that had been a girls only school, until recently. She didn't want to go, but her aunt saw this as a perfect opportunity for her to broaden her horizons a bit.. And to try to get her to snap out of it. If only her aunt had known the dark secret of that school. She settled in well enough when she was sent there, though she was annoyed at her aunt. Things were fine, up until she decided to join a 'cub'. Most students in clubs has not wanted to join them, but the demon in charge of this club was particularly fond of either tricking or forcing new members to kill themselves before she brought them back. She never talks about how she was turned into a demon. It was very embarrassing and taught her to never ever let her guard down again no matter how safe someplace seems.
The power she gained after her death was elemental manipulation. Strong in her own right, especially with light and darkness, which she favored. Unfortunately, before she really had a change to learn much about her powers, or the demon society hidden beneath the normal facade, nearly her entire clan was killed. Except for herself and another girl. She lived because she was not there.. And the other girl lived, but ended up with severe mental disorders as a result. Best of all? Neither of them had any idea the other was still around. They both assumed their entire clan was dead.
She spent a while adapting to this 'new' world she had become a part of. She learned pretty quickly how to manage on her own. It definitely helped that there were others who's example she could follow. She focused mostly on her schooling. During the second semester of her first year at the school, while she was in the nearby park during a weekend, she met Jack Harkins. He had just been released after confinement in Liustraes' hidden room and was throwing up blood. Upon discovering that he had amnesia, which seemed genuine to her, for some reason she decided to be nice and let him have a place to stay until he found somewhere for himself. There were several empty rooms in her dorm.
It was because of Jack that she found out about Solaria and that her cousin had died there. Serena had been close to Jack before her death, which gave Moira motivation to be extra nice to him. That and his brain damage, though she did eventually start just enjoying his company. He had this way of wearing people down, especially the more childish/innocent behavior. They did lose contact after a while. The year ended pretty uneventfully. The next year started.. And she began to notice a few.. Odd disappearances. She didn't think too much of it. It wasn't uncommon for people to vanish from the school every now and then, but this was a bit different. More than usual. Even a couple teachers just disappeared without a trace.
There were also always troublemakers at Kuoh. Rogue demons, or humans who knew just a little too much or were mentally ill. One night, some idiot thought it would be a great idea to break into her dorm, probably a thief, unaware that she was both the nearest person and also.. A really light sleeper. It was dark and he had broken in, so she feels like what she did was completely justifiable. However, after that, she was left with a problem. Disposing of the body. The teachers, they did not allow murder. So she snuck out to the woods near the school with the body and murder weapon, planning to hide them both. She had stabbed the guy with a pair of scissors, several times. Unfortunately, she never did get to hide that body like she intended. She was taking it to an old building out there that had collapsed earlier in the year when she tripped over something in the dark and fell.. Down a rabbit hole. The fall was enough to knock her out for a few hours. When she woke up, she found herself in a very strange place.. And certain she had hit her head harder than she thought.

Extra: This is a revamped version of another character who was originally called "Morila".
She is from the same Reality as Cortez, Jack, Hitaeru, Liustraes, Noelle, Myria, and Carter.
Ability Mimicry and Power Mastering were Frank's idea (and Moira reacted so negatively I just had to do it).
Her powers were purely elemental in nature before she came to Wonderland.. Somehow, they got screwed up, so now she only knows how to use one of her powers.
