Aya walked up to the railing and placed her hands on it, leaning a bit forward to look down towards the schoolyard. She closed her eyes as she felt the breeze through her face as she listened to the two. "Yeah. The school tries to keep students off the roof because it would be dangerous if someone were to fall, but people come up here anyway. The breeze and view is nice."

Rito looked around and stretched a bit before leaning up against the wall of the doorway to the stairs. "No matter what the school does, students always find a way up here. Honestly, I think they've given up trying to stop because they never succeed. It's a great place to get away from people and clear your head. It's also a favored lunch spot too...of course, if weather permits"

Grace nodded along as Rito and Aya explained the rooftop situation. The location was indeed favorable. It offered a nice view as well as a calm breeze. She smiled at the others, clasping her hands behind her back. She stayed silent, since she didn't know what to say. Her eyes darted from the people before her to the view over the academy, then back to the others. "So, uh," She began. She took a small pause. She didn't know what she was going to say. "How long have you guys attended the academy?" Rito and Aya seemed like they have been attending the academy for quite a while from the way they were speaking about the rooftop.

Aya tilted her head when Grace asked how long they've been at the school. She hasn't been there for very long herself compared to Rito. "I'm just a sophomore so I haven't been here very long compared to probably most people." She hates being so far behind in school because she's made a lot of friends who were seniors and she will miss talking to them when they graduate.

Rito looked at Aya and patted her on the head before looking at Grace and Raven. "Same thing with Raven, I'm a senior but I've been here from the start so I pretty much know everyone in the school and where everything is." He didn't exactly like school but he made it fun for himself so he manages to enjoy himself when he attends. He isn't sure what he's going to to do after he graduates though.

Aya could tell that Raven was teasing Rito since he said that he knew where everything was and everyone is. She giggled a bit and patted him on the shoulder. "You can say that. He's quite popular among the female students as well because of all the good things he's done in this place."

Rito scratched the back of his head. "It's not that I'm popular. Most seniors who have been here as long as I have pretty much know everything and everyone except for those who are new." He then looked at Aya and patted her on the head. "The teachers are friendly and most of the students are as well though there are a few...delinquents in the school who like to cause trouble for everyone."

Grace giggled. She wouldn't be surprised if Rito was actually very popular. He was easy on the eyes and he was pretty nice. She hated to believe that there were delinquents at an illustrious Academy such as Amaterasu. But she supposed all learning institutions has their bad apples. She turned to Raven, whom had asked for her surname. "Valentine," She replied. That was her biological parents' taken surname. Her foster parents' were Scott. "Why do you ask?" She inquired, curious as to why she asked.

Aya looked back and forth at Raven and Grace. Roommates, huh? Those are always nice to have. It might seem a little awkward for those who are new to the school to stay on campus at first so it was nice that they had roommat,es in the student dorms. "So, you're roommates, huh? Must be nice to live in a dorm. Me and Rito have a small house that was lent to us when we first came to the city a few years ago. Our first year here was rather interesting, to say the least."

Rito chuckled nervously. "Well, what did you expect would happen? A boy and girl moving into a house on their own, who have no visible indications of family, at our age would cause quite a stir." Back when they first moved into the city, they were basically the talk of the neighborhood. Crazy rumors went around and all that stuff. It was crazy for a while.

"You two are siblings."

Aya looked over at Raven and nodded. "Something like that, yeah. When we first moved in on our own, a lot of different rumors went around the neighborhood. It got to the point where we had to publicly speak to the neighborhood and explain the reason why we were living together on our own." Some of the rumors that were spread through their neighborhood were pretty crazy. At least, they no longer have that issue.

Rito folded his arms and held them close to his chest. "Yeah. Some people though we eloped considering how close we were while others though she was hiding out in my place from something. It was kind of surprising seeing all these kinds of rumors that people made up." He hates having rumors about him and someone else float around. It really bugs him since it makes people ask questions.

Grace nodded, completely forgetting about that entire detail about the not-blood-related siblings. Although, she still did not get why people would make up some weird rumors about two teens living together. She didn't see how any of that was "rumor worthy" and why it'd be the talk of the neighborhood. They weren't doing anything wrong.
Innocent confusion crossed her features when Rito spoke up after Aya. "Eloped? Hiding out?" She repeated. She didn't understand what any of those terms meant.
