The people

Ghosts:
Ghosts are the souls of the deceased that can not find rest. They can posses people, pass through walls, and can pick up some things. They can be resurrected or reincarnated to provide them with permanent bodies. (Profiles are considers as living, until reincarnated or resurrected, at which point the original profile would be moved to graveyard.)

Abyss Walkers:
Human like creatures that originate from a ethereal place called "The Void" or "The Abyss". These creatures and lost spirits wander the endless dark of the void. When they are born, or created, they enter to human world, part of their soul remaining in the darkness, giving them access to power should they so choose. When they die they return to the Abyss, a place of eternity where they remain until they are spat back into the human world again. Because of this many fear trying to use their powers, and fear death, for the certainty of their fate.

Immortals:
The Immortals are those who cannot die from old age or serious injury, the death must be swift, and they physically can never age. Their immortality can be taken away from them, or given back, and each Immortal holds a different power, the ability to float, shape shift, or almost anything else.

Partial Immortals:
Age extremely slowly once they reach about 15-17 years of age. They may live to be thousands of years before they look in their fifties. Normally, this is achieve by a curse, traumatic event inside Kuro Shiro, or having a strong magical power unlocked.

Mortals:
The mortals abilities vary, those without one often develop one based on their personality or hobbies, soon after being introduced to the ones who already do.

Witches and Wizards:
They use magic, using wands and spells. Their world is invisible to people, but ours isn't to them. They can enter which ever world they choose and their magic can be used for good or evil, like most anything else.

Aliens:
Not little green men, they can look like almost anything, and be from almost anywhere. Each alien can have different abilities.

Demons:
Creatures, that can often take the shape of a charming human or ferocious beast. Their true form varies with tails, wings, horns, and fangs.

Angels:
Creatures created to bring blessings to the world and fight the evil in people's hearts. They take a human form and are seemingly perfect in every way. They can fall by committing crimes, sins, or procreating with earthlings.

Dragons:
They can turn into a human at will, but the longer they stay human, the more like a human they think or age, though they never age as fast as humans do. The dragon forms vary in size, shape, color, and power, and never stop growing, but their growth rate does slow once they reach adulthood.

Fallen Angels:
Angels that have turned against their Creator and have been cast down to earth in a weakened state, sometimes trapped in a human form. By selling their soul to the devil, they become demons.

Risen Demons:
Demons who have repented their ways, they are not given their status as angel, but stuck on earth, powers only able to do good, and are often assigned a person to protect.

Elementals:
Some are mortal, others are Immortal, they can control various...well, elements. When moving to this world (Kuro Shiro), their powers may increase, or change over time. Stronger elementals can control other things like a water elemental could control ice. Some may control the stronger part of the element only.

Furries:
Humanoid creatures that are covered in scale, fur ect. They have the trait of an animal such as tail, ears, and usually their head is that of an animal, sometimes with humanoid hair. Their torso resemble a human. They often have paw-like hands and feet. Gender traits are entirely hidden, so clothes are practically built in for them. Some contain outward human traits such as breasts.

Gijinka:
Humans with the ears, tail, and sometimes claws of a furred animal (Bear, cat, dog, etc). They sometimes take on some characteristics of their animal trait. They are limited to humanoid appearances as far as skin color and eye color. If they have human ears as well, they are round like humans.

Alchemist:
Humans and immortals that have learned the art of turning materials into other unrelated substances, all exchanges come with a cost. Alchemists use science as well as magic.

Sorcerers:
Like the alchemists, they can using magic to shift the forms of things, they use their aura to create magic such as elements. Their abilities are more along the lines of magical than logically scientific.

Daernia:
They can meld, and shape the darkness into beings that can think, feel, and speak. The shadows they create are bound to them they must obey the master no matter what. The shadows can not be in sunlight unless they are attached to their master (or a shadow), it burns them. The shadow creatures can take on any form. The Daernia look like humans/Elves/other humanoids. They dislike sunlight, but it does not harm them. (Thank you Innocent-Angel-of-Music. Anything in parentheses was changed by me.)

Elves:
Humanoid creatures that have pointed ears of varying lengths (anything from long to hardly noticeable). They are usually elegant, graceful and physically attractive. They are quick, agile, and can use the environment. Some have other abilities passed down by blood or taught by their family/clan/tribe. The rarer and less common elves may have skin color that varies from humans (such as blue/purple/green).

Vampires:
Ancestral Vampires- Vampires that have existed since before anyone remembers. There are not many of them. Their true form is a bat-mutant, they can turn into nocturnal beasts, and humans. -can create Secondary and Common Vampires-

Blood-Kin Vampires- the offspring of the Ancestral Vampires. Regardless of the species of the non-vampire parent they are considered pure vampire. The non-vampire parent usually dies at birth. They can control anyone that they turn into a vampire by looking them in the eye -Can create secondary and common vampires-

Secondary Vampires- Vampires created when a human drinks vampire blood and then the vampire drinks their blood. They can consume normal food but need blood at least once a month or so. -Can create common vampires-

Common Vampires- Created when a human is used as a food source but is not killed. -Can not Create new vampires- The only vampire to burn in the sun
*Other Types Exist, if you want one added just PM the details
** All vampires posses extreme speed, strength, hearing, night vision, and can usually climb or perch on anything, even upside down (Some exceptions exist)

Were-Beasts:
Were-beasts are humans who have either been bitten by a were-beast or have gone through a ritual, or were born to the species. Any carnivorous or omnivorous mammal can be a were-beast.

Genetic Were-beast- A species existing as long as vampires. They occasionally have the ears and tail or similar feature of their were-beast animal. They can hide these of course. They turn at will. -create cursed were-beasts by biting, offspring are half-breed or Genetic depending on the other parent-

Cursed Were-beast- A humanoid bitten by a cursed or Genetic were-beast contracts a virus that gives them the enhances senses and abilities of the beast of the were-species, while cursing them to turn into a were-beast out of their control during certain moon phases. - Can create other cursed were-beasts-

Ritual Were-Beast- A humanoid puts on special garments made of the beast they wish to transform into, and/or drinks a potion made with blood during the moon of transformation to curse themselves. They can turn into the animal, but do not turn into the were-beast version of it except during the transformation moon. They do develop the senses of the animal.

You can be ALMOST anything else, so if you do not see what you want send us a PM. If we approve your character type we might add it to the list!

You can be a half of anything, (half angel) or a mix (Half dragon half furry), but the powers will be diluted, and if you are a mix, you can't have full powers of both.

I just noticed this and figured I might say something, but feel free to completely ignore me.

Furries are generally considered animals with human appearances that stand upright on two feet. They usually have muzzles and and that.

Beast-kin are humans that have some type of similar traits to animals, such as claws, fluffy ears, etc. But they generally have normal human skin, and all that.

I make that distinction because a lot of furries get super offended if you dont make the difference... dont ask me why.

Shirou Saberfox
.

Though i appreciate the concern, they are lumped together because there is not enough of a difference in them for them to be their own category. If I ever separate them it will be me personally deciding differences that will apply in the role-play.

Most furries, at least where I am from, are pretty much any form of intellectual highly anthropomorphic animal, a human who is obsessed with them to an unnatural (or disturbingly sexual)extent, or a person depicted with animal characteristics.

Since they are not actually a real thing, I will leave it as us unless I get several members making a fuss over it. Though if someone wants to start trouble over it, I probably don't need them in the guild XD I don't like trouble makers.

Thank you though.

I was just reading and noticed something. My character I consider a demon but based on the descriptions here he is considered a furry. May I still call him a demon or do i need to call him a furry?

Perhaps consider editing the description to make it a demon-furry hybrid, but choose whichever description fits it better if not.

if you can think of another creature we do not have listed here that would fit it better than either, you are welcome to tell us about it.

Yes, you can be pretty much anything within reason, so long as it can be killed and is not all powerful or something.

I will add Vampires and were-wolves to the list, with a few different types of each. Since there are so many different vampire theories

Kitsunes are a type of Japanese demons, so they would have a long, extended life, not because they are partial immortals. They will live for an extended period of time, but they age like partial immortals.

So I should put a character that is half kitsune half demon as just demon?

A kitsune by definition is a demon. However, if the kitsune is only half-kitsune, because one of its parents is a kitsune, and the other is a different type of demon, then you would put half-kitsune, half-demon. But if you just want a kitsune, just place it as Kitsune (Demon), and if people don't understand that, mention in the character bio that kitsune are Japanese fox demons.
