Ditto. I don't get out much so I don't really know what there is to do here in Portland. I'm sure there's a bunch of great things, I've seen all kinds of crazy stuff downtown. Once I was on my way to Powell's and I walked by this little place that was just CHOCK FULL of all kinds of new and old action figures and toys. Anime, comic books, video games. You might not even see it if you were driving or riding a bike past it. It was so small.
Neat. That place sounds awesome. Wonder what it was called? Sounds like it would be right up my alley... like when the Clackamas mall had the Star Wars Store. O-o-oh man that place was awesome... And terrible at the same time. Awesome for my geeky self, terrible for my wallet. sweatdrop How I miss that place...
Admittedly, I don't get out too much either, and when I do it's pretty much to the places I usually hit: Target, Walmart, Toys 'R Us, Michaels, the occasional Home Depot or Lowes for costume-making supplies, and sometimes the Halloween Warehouse. And sometimes HobbyTown USA or Tammie's Hobbies to see what they have in their Gundam stock, but I haven't done that in a few months...
I don't know what it's called. But it's right down the street from Powell's. I'm sure I could find it easily. We could always go there and then maybe figure something else out? Idk.

Yup. Star Wars Store. That's what it was called. A store of nothing but wall-to-wall Star Wars collectibles. Statues, figures, props, LEGOs, pretty much everything you could imagine. It was a Star Wars geek's dream come true. Until it closed, then I cried inside (but my wallet jumped for joy, damn traitorous wallet).
