Personality: Zypher is a easygoing captain but strict when he sees his crew slacking. Zypher loves a skirmish even though he doesn't just run willingly into them and when it comes to a battle he is strict because he doesn't want his crew getting hurt. He is the adventurous type that loves to travel to new places and see new things as he searches for his father. Zypher loves a nice female figure but would rather avoid a fight with a woman, whether he would fight a woman if his life or his crew was at stake is unclear. A gentlemen a great captain and a nice guy that is who Zypher is.

Bio: Zypher was born to be a pirate it ran through his blood. While he was young he was taught how to use a sword and handle pistols by his father Zelos Empyrean, Pirate Captain of "The Ula" (The Sea Jewel) that is whenever he could manage to sneak home. Zypher's mother was okay with her husband being a pirate even though people spoke ill of their family but unfortunately Llyod didn't feel the same way. One night Zelos came home and he spoke strange things to Zypher and his family he gave Zypher is prized katana named "Goubatsu" (Eternal Punishment) he had bought form an eastern trader and left, the was the last time they ever saw him. Zypher was 10 when that happened, 3 years later Zypher is working with his brother under the navy and the Empyrean name is finally clean again which was Llyod's intentions but Zypher never wanted to be in the navy though it helped him refine his skills with a rapier and a pistol. 4 years past and Zypher quit the navy, his mother was still a house hold mother and his brother was lieutenant in the navy, Llyod didn't understand why he left but gave him Zuria (White and Lovely) a beautiful white pistol and Llyod's most prized possession. Zypher wondered why his father never returned to the mansion until he received a letter from an unknown sender which read "Ula... Port Royal" Zypher immediately began to pack his things. Knowing where Zypher was going Tessa gave him the family pistol "Belle" (Fair; Lovely One) and he set off. He found Ula along with the pirates who weren't very friendly until they realized that he was carrying "Goubatsu" that is when they gave him the captains coat his father wore and a white katana known as "Eisei" (Eternal Life) another katana only this one was stolen they explained. With this Zypher became Pirate Captain of The Ula and he wandered the seas from island to island looking for his father while raiding naval ships for food and treasure. It has been a year up until now and Zypher is now a renown pirate captain with a huge bounty on his head and though he is captain he still searches for traces of his father while keeping the territories he governs over in check. When his brother Llyod became a Naval Commander and caught wind of Zyphers actions he started the name "The Sea Jewel Vagabond"
