Attached below are all files pertaining to the current contract, Elizabern. It is highly suggested that anyone embarking on the mission read the files carefully, as any and all of these may be encountered during the mission.
There is a even more secret branch of the company, one located in a place only two people know about. Located there is what could be considered the next step in evolution, or the destruction of mankind. The files noted here originate to the small planet of Elizabern, a terraformed planet, which experienced a delayed negative reaction to the process. The result of said event caused a mutation of an already present disease present on the planet, transforming all life that lived there. In most subjects, it slowly took over the body, ceasing all brain activity from the host before taking control of the body and focusing on keeping it running. Some had different reactions, causing a corporation, which received exclusive news of the event, to move to the planet and conduct research. They created (and discovered) fourteen different classes, thirteen containing traits affecting an equivalent to 0.01% of the population. No notes are recorded beyond that, most either deleted or not recorded at all. The end of the file reads, "They've outsmarted us, they've killed us, they've taken over, they will spr-"

Subject One:
[NOT APPREHENDED]
Name: AUX- Class X, Codename "The Arch Angel" DOB: Unknown, first encounter recorded July 7th, 115 Blood Type: Build: Half-starved, muscular Hair: None Distinguishable Features: Everything Height: 5'9 (6'2 stretched) Traits: The Arch Angel hosts many attributes which assist in it's hunting. Two fingers have disappeared on each hand, as well as toes on the feet. The two missing fingers appear to have been formed into an additional section of arm, making it an effective 'wing'. On it's back, two more 'wings' are present, assisting it in gliding (it cannot fly, due to the weight of it's own body). Thick muscle is present along it's upper torso, from use of the 'wings'. Two nostrils appear on top of the head, in addition to the one located above the mouth. The upper lip separates when the mouth opens, and the top two rows of teeth extend out, much like a sharks. The Arch Angel doesn't feel pain, and it's skin is a material very similar to that of bullet-resistant Kevlar, making it quite the opponent to kill. Bio:
Arch Angel is yet another experiment created by the same mysterious corporation that created the Lurker. It is believed that the Arch Angel wasn't an infected human, but rather, a chance offspring of one who was infected, but not yet fully infected. The result is something that can't be considered human. Any and all attempts to recreate this phenomena have failed, making the Arch Angel a one of a kind chance happening.
Nature: The Arch Angel has no feelings, no personality, nothing but instinct. It operates in the hive mind the infection somehow created, but can also operate without, which would be bad. The Arch Angel is the perfect hunter, stalking it's prey day and night, never needing sleep, it'll pounce when it's prey least expects it.

Subject Two:
[SAMPLES TAKEN]
AUX- Class II, codename "Doomsayers"
Doomsayers are common birds that were experimented on with the disease. The result is a hive network of birds that roam the skies, attacking anything that is living. Below is an excerpt taken from the files of the company.
"Doomsayers are an overwhelming success. We've successfully linked their minds with the main frame, resulting in eyes everywhere. We've had a few minor incidents with raptors, apparently their minds aren't compatible with the syncing progress, but our shining stars in this project are obviously crows. They have the size of birds of prey, and are one of the easiest to sync."
Since this excerpt was taken, we've found the main frame described to be somehow infected, infected with the disease. The birds roam at their will, with no guiding hand, at least that's what appearances seem to reveal.

Subject Five:
[AVOID AT ALL COSTS]
The Main Frame
The company installed a series of computers they referenced multiple times as "The Main Frame". Several logs indicate it is located in the company building, but several attempts to reach it proved fatal to researchers. The main frame seems to have been infected with the disease somehow, and there are several logs hinting at what transpired.
AUX- Class XI, codename "Warden"
"Several attempts to use the virus to form a biological computer have all lead up to what we have here. Using the constantly growing cells to store information effectively, but this isn't what we were aiming for, this is just an added bonus. By merging the main frame with the virus, we've been able to tap into the network, the same network connecting every infected individual on the planet."
"Researcher log XVII: The Main Frame seems to have taken an interesting turn. Since merging it with the 'disease', we've been able to control almost every infectee on the planet. The past few days report several bugs though, including orders not sent, users being kicked off, and a few other minor bugs. We're looking into this now..."
"It seems by merging the disease with the main frame, we've created a sentient being. I've had the pleasure of speaking with it multiple times, through the actual keyboard of the computer, and find this phenomena to be quite pleasant. it seems to have absorbed all of the knowledge and memory of the infected..."
The Following was found in a bunker, scribbled on a notepad.
"The Warden has turned on us. We don't know what changed, not a week ago, we were conversing, studying it. But now, it's produced some sort of biological film that's taken over the entire building. Anyone who touches it is instantly covered in it, and it proceeds to crush them in quite a horrifying manner. Not only this, but it's taken control of sentry turrets, cameras, everything electronic. We were able to cut our link to the outside before it could spread everywhere, but it knows where we are, it's sending them after us..."

Subject Six:
[SAMPLES TAKEN]
Sleepers
"On more than one occasion the recon team encountered seemingly un-infected persons, crying for help. Upon rescue, they would walk among us, talk among us, befriend us even. Then night would come, or we'd be attacked by a swarm. They'd suddenly turn into... something else entirely. From within our own ranks, the people we rescued would attack and help the infected..."
-Testimony of an un-named reconnaissance soldier.
Described above is another strain of the virus, most likely a specific reaction to a genetic trait present in persons who contracted the disease. They showed much higher level thinking, but worse than that, they used tactics against us. These creatures look like us, but they aren't us. They infiltrate us, then they wait for the right time to pounce on our soldiers from within our own ranks. It is my [Mathias Saint James] greatest recommendation that you kill any and all life forms that didn't arrive with you.
