Song Playing │ Thoughts: The girl dorm is that far back?

Amberlynn's face lit up when she found out she would be sharing a room with Kelsey. "It's a good thing I'm no loon, and you don't appear to be so Kelsey. I think this will be fun," she said with an enthusiastic tone and a bright smile. Her smile grew with Kylar's rhetoric question. They all knew the chances were slim, and they, the girls, had beaten the odds.

Following up on Kylar's concern of Kelsey's bag, she chimed in. "You can place it in my wagon if you want." With one glance down to the wagon, she added, "Of course we'd have to undo the safety stuff, but it won't be a problem." The wagon had a net over it and was tied down with two bungee cords, one vertically and the other horizontally. It was a safety caution as to not lose anything with the speed she rolled at, and to also be sure nobody would steal anything at stops.

Kelsey glances up at the both of them. " I'm Fine, really don't worry about my bag..." She responds completely ignoring Kylar's other question. Kelsey adjust the bag clinging tightly to it fearing either one will be stubborn and take the bag from her. Speeding up so she is at the same pace as them, so that she won't be so far behind anymore. " Besides like you said Kylar we should be to the dormitory soon. I do't think that you are a loon either" Kelsey smiles Although you are a tad overwhelming and very bubbly She shakes the rude thought from her mind. How dare you think that you will be living with her for the rest of the year and it could be someone worse.

Whatever was in that bag must be really important to her, Kylar thinks to himself. He decides that it was best not to pursue the subject any further and has his thoughts interrupted by his stomachs growls before he could contemplate it any further. Ignoring it and hoping it wasn't loud enough for the other to hear, he leads them the rest of the way and up the steps. Kylar holds the door open for them. "Here are your dorms ladies. I'd help you find your room inside but this is as far as I can go. So is there anything else I can help you with?" Kylar asks them with a smile. He knew they would need some time to get their things put away and probably wanted to get to each other better but it never hurts to ask.

Song Playing │ Thoughts: Darn door!!!!!!!!!!

Amberlynn decided to drop the bag situation since it seemed not to bother Kelsey and her belongings must be extremely important to her. Of course everyone had something important, and her own safety precautions of the contents of her wagon were a little excessive. "Whatever you say dear," she said with a wink to Kelsey. She faced forward again. Looking backwards on roller blades was never a good idea. She wasn't completely clumsy, but it's never a safe thing to be so nonchalant about where you are going on roller blades.

Before she realized it they were at the girls dorms. She giggled at the thought of Kylar going in with them, and the reactions the other girls would possibly have to it. "Uhm.." she had to think hard. "Nothing I can think of! Thanks, Kylar. Catch'a later?" It was more of a "I will see you later" kind of thing, and she gave him a kiss on the cheek in thanks. She gave him a smile before she departed for the door, which was a little heavy. Grunting, she slammed into it and went inside, struggling to hold it open as she pulled the wagon in.

Relieved that Kylar and Amberlynn dropped the subject of her bag. Noticing Amberlynn's winking catching her off guard but knowing it was just playful, or at least she took it that way. Walking up to the dorms Kelsey looks at Kylar "No, I can't seem to think of anything else I'd need to know about either right now. Thank you so much for the help! Well I'll see you around." Turning she holds the door open for Amberlynn so she can get the rest of wagon into the building without practically killing herself. Oh how am I going to explain Mink to her! What if she hates cats or is highly allergic to them... Kelsey begins to panic in her mind.

Strolling down a smoothing paved side walk Drew is in direr of taking in his surroundings. His hidden secret had something to do with it but growing a resistance it has become easier to control. Fidgeting still has some work keeping his hands inside his pant pockets clenching them into fists. Every gadget and contraptions people held he thought about advancing it more efficiently.The ideas of what plans he makes up going berserk not paying attention at all to the people around him. Halting he sat down on a wooden bench to relax the complexity of his mind. Looking up he is in the shadow of the school but the beauty of the building was not what caught his eye. He was examining the building work taking it apart brick by brick with his mind trying to rebuild it to his own design of it. Snapping out of he looking over he was looking directly at a unfamiliar face. "Sorry, kind of in my own little world." the thought of socializing eased his mind to be more simple.

Kylar smiled at the girls before replying, "Well I'll leave you two to get settled in. Perhaps we'll speak again after you get settled in." He spun on his heels and made his way back towards the main building. Those two seem to be getting along well enough. , he thought to himself. Though they both are a little strange. He found it odd that Amberlynn would already feel comfortable enough to give him a peck on the cheek. They had only been speaking for about ten minutes. Then there was Kelsey's bag, Kylar was still curious on what was in it but it wasn't in him to pry.

He was just about to reach the cafeteria when he noticed another student staring into space. He seems... nervous, anxious about something. Kylar approaches the the young man, making sure to stay in his line of sight. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to startle him, he thinks to himself. Kylar was standing there for about five minutes, trying to figure out what he was starting at, when the guy finally noticed him. Kylar nodded to his remark before replying, "It's alright. You seem... anxious though. Is everything ok?"

Raising an eyebrow not quite understanding what exactly he meant by anxious until he realized. "No, I'm fine over thinking and just making things complicated everyday happenings for me." Standing up he twists his neck from side to side making a couple crackling sound. Not feeling so tensed up for once he gave a friendly smile to him not quite sure how introduce himself. After standing awkwardly for a moment he decided to wing it. Taking his hand from his pocket he held it out for the stranger. "I'm Drew Scythe and you are?"

Kylar watched the young man. He seems so unsure of himself, he thought to himself. Kylar watched the young man for a few moment longer longing all the nervous mannerisms that he displayed. Finally realizing that he had his hand out, Kylar shook it. "Nice to meet you Drew. I'm Kylar Stern," he replied to him with a smile. Letting Drew's hand go he asked, "I'm going to be getting some food. Didn't have breakfast this morning. Would you like to join me?" Kylar figured Drew might become more comfortable with his surroundings if he were distracted.

Song Playing │ Thoughts: Can't wait to be 'settled in' so I can go socialize more!!!!!!!

Trying to slam that heavy door open on roller blades left Amberlynn's face flush, and she was relieved when Kelsey helped her with it. "Oh thanks a ton girl!" Her breathing was a little off, but she tried to sound as sincere as possible with the breath she did have. "His parting was a little repetetive," she noted to her companion as they walked down the hall looking for room 452. By the time they reached the door, she had already finished emphsizing what Kylar had said, "Get settled in - get settled in!" She wasn't trying to be mockful, she was just in a good mood and thought it strange he repeated the phrase. "Uhm.." she started, looking down at her wagon, "do you have your key handy? Mine is in all that crazy junk."

Kelsey giggled as Amberlynn went on about Kylar's repetitive phrase. "No problem!" She smiled walking behind Amberlynn's wagon. "Yes, I happen to have my key handy." She smiled reaching into the back pocket of her jean's for the key. Pulling it out from her pocket, Kelsey walks around the wagon to the door unlocking it and pushing it open. "Well here we are,our new home...." Walking into the room and turning on the lights. "Good thing I had my key handy that would of been a huge mess to have to undo you things." She said flopping down on one of the small twin size beds.

Song Playing │ Thoughts: Homesick already...just going to soak in the silence.

The still slightly flushed girl gave a sigh of relief as her companion and hopefully newly found friend pulled out her copy of the key. As Kelsey walked in and turned on the lights, Amberlynn walked in behind her, shutting the door once her wagon was pulled in. "Yes, our new home," she said as she examined their new surroundings. Two small twin beds were placed on either side of the door with nightstands. Located directly from the door was a small plasma mounted on the wall, the remotes underneath it on a small coffee table. Each side of the room had a large dresser, and one closet was located on the right side, the side Kelsey already claimed. "Undoing my things would have been a mess, but at least it would have been done in the hallway," she said ruefully, wishing she would have made a mess of the hallway instead of their new clean room. Slowly, she began to undo her wagon, placing each individual suitcase on the bed to be unpacked. For once, she did not have much to say.

Kylar watched the young man. He seems so unsure of himself, he thought to himself. Kylar watched the young man for a few moment longer longing all the nervous mannerisms that he displayed. Finally realizing that he had his hand out, Kylar shook it. "Nice to meet you Drew. I'm Kylar Stern," he replied to him with a smile. Letting Drew's hand go he asked, "I'm going to be getting some food. Didn't have breakfast this morning. Would you like to join me?" Kylar figured Drew might become more comfortable with his surroundings if he were distracted.

Thinking for a moment he thought food is what he might need right now and be able to give his mind a full rest. Nodding his head he gave Skylar a friendly smile "Think that's an perfect idea its just what I need." Sliding his hands in his pocket he waits for Skylar to lead the way because he has no idea which way to go.

Kylar started walking towards the main building. Why does it feel like I'm picking up strays, he thinks to himself. He leads Drew through the hall and to the cafeteria in silence. Pushing the doors open and walking through, Kylar knew that this was a state of the art school but the facilities of the cafeteria border lined on crazy. The aroma of different seasonings and spices mingle in the air, as chefs from all over the world are preparing food. Taking a closer look around the room he says almost in awe, "This isn't your average cafeteria." Kylar takes a moment to gather his thoughts before turning to Drew and says, "I'm going to hit the chinese food over there. What about you?"

Kelsey keeps her big purse close to her as she starts to unpack her clothes putting the shirts and shorts she brought in the dresser. " So Amberlynn...." Kelsey started. "umm... can u keep a secret?" She finished deciding it was best to just go ahead and get this over with. Still had her back turned to Amberlynn.
