"Ah, was close. So...first that person needs to be alive for you to make that connection and then die. Too bad...the most recent death is the invader. It'd be nice if we could have used him. Or her."

Silhouette nodded to Theonis, "An amusing thought, but the death must be fresh. Crosis makes contact the moment brain functions cease. It is that moment when I can connect with him and ask him to meet with us."

"However, that is a last resort. The better choice would be for me to submit myself to Liv's eyes. If that isn't enough, then I will need to be gazed upon by both her and the Princess we saved. It may well destroy my mind, but not in a way that affects Trinity. Those who have been under the full scrutiny of infinity's gaze for too long have either gone comatose, vegatative, or kill themselves. None of these will hurt her or the power she wields."

Gidget clenched her fist and made a personal decision at that point. Her heart functioned by way of her power. She could turn it off with but a thought. They would just need to turn it on. She opted, however, to hold onto this information and mull over it a bit longer. After all, she had another life other than her own relying on her heart.

"Speaking of the Princess, I'm going to check on the helo's that are supposed to arrive."

She strode over to the console and searched for helicopter frequencies heading toward their location. It didn't take long for her to find the lead chopper.

"Chopper bound for Valhalla, this is Agatha Morris. What is your E.T.A.?"

There was a brief pause, and then a voice came over the radio that sounded all to familiar to few in the room.

"I'm afraid the island's inhabitants wont be arriving Gidget." the voice gleefully taunted over the radio.

The monitors in Gidget's lab buzzed and clicked on in a wave. Eclipse looked upon the individuals in the room, a little worse for wear, but grinning sardonically nonetheless.

"Well well, it seems a highway ambush, a city wide battle, a rich Trojan horse, and a deadly kid just aren't enough to kill you insects."

He looked over to his sister and feigned surprise, "My dearest sister, I see the little hero has let you out to play. You're looking good for a parasite."

Sil's shadowy form seemed to light ablaze with dark flames as her hatred for her brother boiled over.

"You b*****d! What did you do to them?!"

"Me, not a thing. The rock shooter's sisters, however, went a little overboard."

The monitors clicked and cut to a video recording from a camera that was being held by eclipse on the top of a tall building. He panned it to himself, grinned, and gave the camera a thumbs up before turning it to the approaching helicopters in the sky. The skyline showed that he was located in a coastal city. The helicopters were approaching the highly packed beach. Out of nowhere, they were each struck by four separate projectiles: a bronze spinning saw, gatling gun fire, a mass of small orbs, and an intense light beam.

The camera zoomed in and showed that all the helos were heavily damaged and had either ceased functioning, fell apart, or caught fire in mid-air. They fell to the beach like bricks on a scrambling and screaming crowd. There was a series of explosions, and then the camera panned up to the four perpetrators. It was the two masked girls that attacked the beach party only moments ago, and two others that wore similar masks but were adorned with a fist and a crystal. Their defining feature, though, were the Valhalla uniforms they were wearing.

The camera cut back to Eclipse's smug face as he shook his head and tutted, "My my my, shame on you all. I know Charles Ray did some awful things, in the past and today, but those were innocent soldiers just trying to save the last refugees of a now dead race. And over a crowded beach, oh the humanity of it all."

Meanwhile Liv was doing her hair stil chuckling a bit. Especially when she heard Rydia's response to her measurements.

"It's like we're already adopting and having to raise her from step one. If it's too much trouble just give her some of mine. I'm sure something fits. Obviously not the bra's but I'm sure something will fit."

Rydia blushed and crossed her arms. She huffed and mumbled something along the lines of, "-not that much bigger-"

Heather giggled and went through Liv's closet, picking out a modest outfit for Rydia. She then requested the clothing of her size and taste and dressed herself. In a few minutes, the two of them were dressed for a day out.

Rydia walked beside Liv in the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. She adjusted the ribbon over her eye and grimaced, "I look a mess. The garments are...pleasant, but my hair is unacceptable. Where do we go for styling. Please tell me there is someone that does that much."

Heather teased her hair, admiring her draconic eyes, and nodded, "Oh definitely. I could definitely use an above ground pampering after everything that's happened."

She went silent for a moment and seemed to go into deep thought for a moment.

"I'm nearly human in appearance, and I've inherited my father's company and fortune." she said in slight disbelief.

"A spa day sounds like heaven but maybe tomorrow. " Said as she was finishing her eyeliner. Her lipstick was a neutral pink. And just as she finished she looked at the two girls who were ready for a day out. Totally not what she had in mind. Liv thought they'd just get something to eat here at Valhalla.

"Oh this just won't do. I look like a hobo compared to you two now." Liv made her way to the closet and picked out a new outfit. Nothing too sexy. Tight jeans and a low cut shirt.

"You've come a long way Heather. Maybe you should talk to Theo or Gidget about your father's company. They should know more about running things."

"It's not that difficult to bring someone back from the dead. I can stop my own heart if I want to. Prevent it from pumping. After that Ako can bring me back. But I suppose it's safer if I bring someone back. Electricity could damage the brain if it goes wrong. You're too valuable right now Sil. You're no use to us if you do get the information but end up a vegetable." Theo responded.

He fell silent when Eclipse spoke and seemingly taking control of the monitors. It felt as if his heart grew cold when the heli's came into view. He wouldn't!
Eyes grew wide when the catastrophe hit. Theo shut everything out. He a hand on Trinity's shoulder.

"Gidget, handle the media! Trinity! Go!" Theo commanded. This was not a time to hesitate. This was a disaster aimed at them. It would give the media a field day.

Eclipse's laughter echoed through the lab, "Handle the media? Do you think I'm some storybook clown? I'm done playing with you worms

Gidget Went pale at the familiar implication. It wasn't storybook, it was comic book.

Gidget overrode a few monitors and switched them to national news. There were emergency crews on site, on the scene reports, and a statement from the president.

"It's already happened. That video was from over thirty minutes ago." she gasped.

Eclipse held the camera up close to his face and cackled into it. "Third times the charm dear sister. Daedalus has already received the call to respond to this declaration of war. The world's final extinction level event has begun. But one more thing before I see to preparations. A little bit of familicide to kick things off."

He then looked down at the sleeping teenager and said, "Thea dear...ingredietur bestia."

The girl's eyes snapped open as her hair flashed both red and blue until the two finally mixed and became a dark violet. The sucker that was in her mouth fell to the ground as she rose from the ground like a woman possesed. There was no innocence in her eyes, there was no fear, and there was no distrust. There was only white hot insane fury.

Her body convulsed, and erupted in a mass of firearms configuring themselves out of her body. They were pointed nowhere, and everywhere. There was only one thing on her mind, destroy.

Heather smiled and shook her head. She chimed, "That's not quite what I meant. What I was implying was that I can treat us to a meal that isn't from a service line. If you feel up to it, I'd love to treat you girls to a high class meal."

Rydia clapped her hands together and sighed, "Ah, That sounds wonderfull. That is, if Liv is up to it. She is the hero of the day afterall."

"Hey I'm not gonna say no to that. Never been on a high class date with two ladies before." Liv responded and wanted to take a step. But as she did it felt as if she couldn't support her weight. Falling on one knee she looked just as surprised as the others.

"I...I can't feel my right leg." Liv took a few deep breaths trying to calm herself down." Could...could help me get to the bed?" Calming down didn't work. She sounded scared. But in the back of her mind she knew why this was happening. Liv had overplayed her ability to recuperate from light. It wasn't hours that she gained. But minutes.

The two of them helped Liv to the bed gently. Heather was visibly shaken by the sudden drop in Liv's condition. "What's wrong? Did I hurt you earlier?"

Rydia felt Liv's forehead and winced. "She has a slight fever. She must be exhausted from not only the days events, but also the lack of sleep she spoke of earlier."

"There is something I can do to aleviate the symptoms, but she'll need proper nourishment and rest. Heather, if you could please?"

She waited for Heather to leave for food and then knelt beside Liv. She spoke in her people's tongue with a tone that resembled like a lovers serenade. It could be understood by Liv since she had Rydia's mother's eyes.

"Child of the Earth, daughter of the light, shut your eyes and feel the embrace of serenity."

She gently placed the palm of her hand on Liv's forehead. A warm, blue glow eminated from her hand and enveloped Liv.

"Breath deeply, and feel your burdens lift like a forgotten dream."

"It's not you Heather...." Liv responded softly.

She felt the glow of Rydia's hand wash over her. It was...soothing.
"I thought..I was supposed to..take care of you." Liv said as her eyes felt heavier and heavier.

Trinity listened as the others tried to brains storm of a way to connect with a beeing who would only appear near death. Though she had been near death several times in her career but things shifted as Eclipse's voice entered the room. Then she watched in horror as the all the helicopters came crashing down with the people she had reassured that they would be save here. Instead, the very opposite became true. All that work and effort from earlier, saving everyone from the crashing floating island.

She pounded her fist against the metal wall. "Sadistic b*****d! That invader earlier, he was a distraction to keep us from even knowing what was going on. Why wipe them out! They didn't even have a chance to react!"

Then she was faced with Thea about to open fire with all of her arms.

"Damn it!" She raised a thick wall of shadow to block her bullets.

The girl's barrels all opened fire at once and began peppering the wall with rocks of various size and intensity. She began to slowly walk toward and big black wall in an attempt to destroy it.

When she saw that nothing was getting through it, she ceased fire and reconfigured her body again. Her back produced many lenses similar to the one she used earlier. Her chest turned into something resembling a turbine, and she opened her mouth slowly as a glow began to build up in it.

Gidget took cover behind the wall. The silver lining of all this was that the bullets destroyed the monitors that displayed that laughing monster.

He had said something, it sounded like latin. That's when the girl started shooting at everything. She remembered something about this in the files she had received from Dr. Acula. She was half listening to the audio logs while working in her lab. Something about trigger words, another thing about a dangerous girl, and the way to get her to stop.

She called out, "Theonis, what was your mother's name?!"
