More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Liv gave Rydia a look in amazement. It was both her speech and what she said that amazed her. Then again...she was a princess.

"We gotta work on your language girl. Nobody talks like that anymore." Liv giggled." Ain't got no servants either. But I'll turn it on and call you when it's ready. Or you can hop in as it fills. Some people prefer that."

Liv casually entered the bathroom and took off her suit. It was already quite steamy. Guess the dragoness enjoyed hot showers. So did Liv....and she suspected it would get hot. But before she lost her mind in idle thoughts she turned on the bathtub to let it fill up.

"Am I that hot that you have steam coming out of your ears?" Liv commented right after she entered. She did nothing to hide her figure. Despite the battles today her skin was a smooth as it always had been. The steam did bring up the temperature to a nice level. It almost felt like a sauna. Which was great!

Fair enough... I just need to get in there long enough to get Freya out of there. As much as she did not want to simply leave it up to Theresa she could not risk being ripped in half. Healers could only do so much. She awaited from the side for the window of opportunity to get Freya out.

Theresa glanced at Trinity before slowly walking in the direction of gunfire and power impact. She held her arms out to her side as they began to reconfigure themselves from the shoulder down, locking them into a straight line. The barrels extended out to her calves as vents clicked into her upper arms, and lenses gleaned on her shoulders. She hated using it, but it was going to be the only thing that could bypass Phantom's limbs.

She rounded the corner and looked down the hallway. Her eyes squinted with hatred as she called out, "Phantom!"

Rydia's ears drooped as Liv left. No servants? This led to a startling revelation. She didn't know how to do much of anything for herself aside from some dressing and reading. The more difficult attire was always fastened by a hand maiden.

She undressed until she was down to just her panties and a wrapping over her chest that prevented chaffing when wearing armor. She huffed and laid back on the bed, appreciating how comfortable it was.

Heather looked up at Liv and turned flush once more upon laying eyes on the blonde beauty. She chuckled awkwardly and replied, "I actually am that hot. The water turns to steam almost as soon at it hits me."

She felt a different sort of heat begin to build as she looked into Liv's eyes and made a come hither motion with one of her claws.

"Come closer and see. If the beach was any indication, my heat cannot harm you."

Theresa glanced at Trinity before slowly walking in the direction of gunfire and power impact. The ghoul had switched gears once he realized Freya was indestructible. He had been using her as a shield and a weapon against his aggressors.

Then he heard Rock

He turned his head around and glared at her from behind the helmet. He saw that she had changed herself, but he wasn't afraid of her. He had been able to stop her stupid stones before, and this time would be no different.

He spun around and brought Freya to the front, who was still thrashing and kicking as much as she could. Phantom hissed at Rock, and then began his slow approach toward her.

Freya looked on at the kid with the gun arms and nodded while wheezing out. "Do it! Shoot!"

She also looked toward the shadows while repeating those words. She knew she'd be okay, but she wagered that Trinity would try to save her from what was coming. She hoped her cryptic message would be enough to dissuade Trinity from trying to risk her life.

Trinity watched from the shadows as the events unfold. She figured she could time things right to drop from the ceiling grab Freya and get her to safety. She was getting ready to do that when she looked at Freya looked toward the shadows, at her practically and repeated the message to her. Why would she tell me that?... Wait... she wants her to, to shoot her?... Then again her new ability that... silver armor would probably better protect her than what I can do...

Feeling anxious about the situation, she really wanted to do something but instead she remained in the shadows. Rock seemed to have the situation under control.

Then something else occurred to her. All of those people from the crashing floating island are are their way over. She needed to get some idea how long it would take for them to get here and will this danger be contained by the time they get here. Trinity rubbed her head at the thought and decided to head toward Theonis' shadow. She emerged from his shadow, who was running toward the ghoul. "Theo Stop!"

Despite Theo being used to it, this did catch him off guard since he didn't expect her to even show up. After all she should have her hands full right about now. But her tone seemed to indicate that something was wrong.

"Something wrong Trin?" He asked her and stopped.

"Right..dragon and all."

Kerana nodded at Deora's idea. It was better than anything she had in mind at the moment and right now Valhalla was not safe. She started following Deora, then slowed down a little when she noticed Damien wasn't with them. As soon as Damien caught up, "What were you up to?"

"I was getting a deep read of that man's mind." he said.

He took Kerana's hand, a gesture he had read about when giving heavy news.

"He knew where your parents are being kept, and so now I know. I don't know if they're alive, but we have a place to start."

Liv knew those eyes well. Very well. "Oh I will." Liv responded in a sultry way. She stepped towards Heather and wrapped her arms around her waist, pushing them against each other. Liv leaned in and whispered in Heathers ear.

"So tell me, what's next?"

Heather's heightened senses were firing on all cylinders. Her face became even more flush as the excitement built in her. She honestly didn't know what to do next, aside from something that she was very tempted to do being so close to Liv's ear.

"Well, I'm very new to this, but maybe..."

She paused long enough to gently places Liv's ear lobe in between her teeth and press ever so slightly.

"...you could tell me where to go next."

He spun around and brought Freya to the front, who was still thrashing and kicking as much as she could. Phantom hissed at Rock, and then began his slow approach toward her.

Theresa placed a foot behind her to widen her stance and placed her balance on it while bringing her arms together. They locked into place as she configured a bipod for the heavy barrels. The lenses on her shoulders began to glow as they absorbed the light around her and processed the photons within the mechanics of the weapon. The vents began to spin and express heat as the weapon warmed up. Their spinning became more rapid as a light began to build up from within the barrels.

The guards that saw the size and scope of the weapon on the kid's arms were quick to pull aside the others and evacuate from the coming storm.

A blinding light that filled the hallway in front of her burst from the weapon accompanied a deafening howl. The eruption shook the walls. Her long pigtails fluttered backwards from the blow-back. She turned her face away from the intense heat.

The beam scorched the walls along the hallway until it met the opposite wall.

"Let's start with this."

Liv immediately responded by kissing Heather's neck. There was something nagging in the back of her mind. Right....Rydia's bath. There was no way she would interrupt this thing with Heather right now so she just sent her a message through her mind. She did after all held the power of the beastmaster.

"Bath is ready, princess."

Her hands moved across Heather's back as her kissing made it's way to the dragoness's lips.

"This next part will be very familiar." Liv softly said before locking lips with her girl.

Despite Theo being used to it, this did catch him off guard since he didn't expect her to even show up. After all she should have her hands full right about now. But her tone seemed to indicate that something was wrong.

His voice, seeing him was a breath of fresh air with everything that was going on. She wanted to hold him but restrained herself by clenching her fists. She took a quick breath and stood like a soldier.

"Wrong?…Not exactly. The Welcome Center is being addressed."

"However, something else that needs to be addressed are the planes heading to Valhalla. The ones with the refugees from the floating island. What is their ETA?"

"If they're getting close how long can they circle around while we address what other matters that may arise. Right now, with all that's been going on the last thing we need are more civilians in danger. We need to keep them away until matters are settled."

Theo nodded. "Alright, yeah. The planes will still take a couple of hours. It is a long flight after all." He answered.

It was then that he heard the howl of the weapon Theresa fired.

"That doesn't sound like it's under control." He said a bit worried. "Don't tell me that thing can also do that. We need it kill it asap. If it's ripping off heads then I don't think it can be reasoned with."

"I know you hate it here. You love me, but you hate being trapped in this place. You stay for me, and I think your wonderful to do that, but you're not happy here. I was scared that you'd make yourself miserable for our sake, and I don't want that."

"Gidge," He pulled her back to him, touching his lips to her forehead before pulling back again, "I can't be miserable anywhere I'm with you. As long as I can see your smile, I don't care where I am. I know I haven't been myself lately, but it isn't Valhalla. It's that I haven't had anything to do. I went from running from my past every day, to settling down with someone from that past who loves me. It's like cabin fever, I didn't know what to do with myself. I have no where I need to run, nothing I need to run from, I have all I could ever need or want, and I don't know what to do with it. Once I get that figured out, I'll be back to my old self. Well, maybe not my old self, but less broody."

His confident half-smile showed itself a little as he looked into her eyes, and he moved a hand down to carress her belly. "I'm not just sticking around ebcause it's the right thing to do, I'm sticking around because I can't see myself anywhere but next to you."
