My friends and I had a conversation about MERLIN we were talking if it still stays true to the Arthurian legends and I wanted to know what you guys thought about this cause well COMMON ITS MERLIN haha ^^ SOOOO .............. TALK TO ME!!!! ^^

I don't know too much about the legend.. besides what I would learn from wikipedia.. So can't help ya out much there.. The one big thing I could say that's untrue to the legend is the fact that they're the same age.. Merlin is always the teacher for Arthur.. is he not?
Well, if we're going by the documented information about the person Arthur, there is no Merlin wink If you mean how true to the novels it is? Sure usually Merlin is older. But, it's magic and if I understand it right, people of magic often can appear any age they please. It depends on what they want to appear as. Usually appearing as elderly in that time especially, would have made him well respected and considered wise.

They were just doing an interview not to long ago saying they were going to butcher the legend so no. I don't think they'll stick too much to the story.
no, if it really were arcoding to the legend, merlin would be 80 years old or so and arthur would take the throne when he's 15 or so~ and there is no one named morgana, but morgause does (according what i know about the legend)
