I would like to go as cheap as possible but there's no limit really.
heart Well, what I was thinking was you could use 3/5 cotton harem pants in red, and then use tape to mark out the yellow designs and paint the areas in in the yellow/orangey color. You could tie a ribbon or some thin rope like material at the hem as well for that bit at the bottom.
For the belts and straps, and even the shoes, you could use some faux leather. Not sure currently what I'd use for the circle in the middle of the belt and the triangle connectors for those straps, but for the circle embellishments on them and the shoes and gloves and daggers, you can actually paint over some googly eyes and glue them on! The chest strap maybe you can find a long enough leather belt with a large silver buckle, and use the faux leather for the shoulder strap. You can also use bits of your remaining faux leather on the extra pieces of the shirt sleeves and on the gloves and stitch them on, using googly eyes again for the rivets if you wanted.
For the shirt I'd say maybe just find a normal red shirt and cut it mid torso (a bit jagged as well, as it looks in the reference pic.). For the center of the shirt you could stitch in the lines, or if you wanted it to open, use velcro or a zipper. You could possibly use velcro for the scarf as well if you found fabric in the right color for it since it seems to detach in the back, but I would just find a normal scarf in that color. White or faded grey ?
Not sure what to say for the hat, maybe someone else can help with that. You may be able to find or make a pattern for it, or provide more references and maybe someone else can either make the pattern for you?
For the daggers you can use foam! Lots of foam and metallic paint and coats and maybe some plasti dip? You can google how to make daggers and weapon props and find hundreds of different tutorials to work with, and you can personalize them to fit how you need them to!
I hope I was of some help, and maybe some one else will respond to give you some more ideas as well. There's probably some alternatives to methods I said as well, which you can also find by a bit of internet scrounging and advice from other people.
