As soon as I discovered I was a girl, I'd have two priorities: 1. Securing a way to change back and forth (or failing that, just back) 2. Securing the time to: - Familiarize myself with the new body - Try on the newly-available range of clothing (curiosity only) - Make plans to experience trans-gender culture shock in a carefully controlled fashion.
Both lists are ordered by priority so I should probably explain why: - I value control over my life above all else. - If I can't be both, I prefer to stay male. Less hassle that way. (No period, no trans-gender culture shock, and no pregnancy as a pre-requisite for offspring. It also doesn't help that, if my mother was any indication when she was younger, my genes code for breasts larger than I'd be happy with) - I'm more curious about culture than clothing, but I'm also more fearful of it. I'm the kind of person who, in many cases, prefers to sit on the sidelines and observe intently rather than participating. This is most obvious in my preferences for fiction.
Probably best to just give me Tedd's transformation gun from El Goonish Shive. No risk getting stuck, highly customizable forms, and user-selectable transformation durations.

Kirokusclone if i woke up changed, i'd sit up, walk off for my computer, get on and read my webcomics, and my other daily thigns to check (take bout 15 minutes) and then i'd scratch my chest, feel the boobs, look down. "oh cool, I changed, now where did that camera go?"
I think I'd notice the absence of morning wood sooner than that. Also, since I sleep on my chest, there's a good chance I'd notice boobs around the same time.
