"The park really is the best place to go when you're wanting to get some quick energy." The masked acolyte Spinel was saying as he stood atop a gazeebo that over looked the place, "For a time after the incident with Sailor Cipher the place was closed off causing us to have to check other places, now that it's ope and busier then ever it's a good place to come. Until we are stronger it's important to serve that twit Discord 'loyally', sending her whatever energy she wants, but be sure to keep some back for your own reserves. No reasons she should get all of it."
Reaching a hand out he patted Gypsum on the shoulder, "Remember what I suggested, alright? Use your threads like a spider might, get some prey tangled up, and drain them dry. Just be sure not to kill them, that would be the same as killing a cow after milking it. Either way it's a huge waste of resources." Looking around for a moment Spinel took in everything around them before he said, "Now, it tends to be that we have a short amount of a time at the beginning of one of our attacks before a senshi shows up. More then likely it will be Sailor Tethys that shows up, he dogs everyone's steps even though he's far from being a hero. Just be ready for him, his main attack is water whips." It might be interesting to see how Gypsum did against the guy, not to mention it would be amusing to see Tethys get all tangled up in a good web of threads.
Doing his best not to laugh he said, "There is also a chance that Sailor Cipher might be about. Especially if the two of you have it out for each other he might show up to try to stop you. I won't interfere unless it seems you're in over your head, got it? This is your test after all."

(( Randomizing which cat gets hit, Sword has the name list ))
A blond haired student named Dmitri wasn't all that far off from the point of attack, playing a bit of touch football with a group that he'd met not too long after arriving in the park. The game had only just gotten good when Dmitri heard the first scream, something that caused him to jerk up right... and get hit in the chest with the football that had been being thrown to him. Leaning over to scooped the ball up, tossing it to one of his new friends, and said, "Best that we get out of here." A feeling that only grew in his stomach when there was the sound of more screams, some of them seeming to get closer. Lucky for Dmitri those he was hanging out with didn't need him to say it a second time, turning on their heels to run.
Looking around Dmitri spotted a quiet place, one devoid of people, where he quickly rushed to. Once there he fished his henshin wand from his pocket, quickly transforming into his senshi form, "Eesh, lucky I was here." He murmured as he went charging forward, just in time to see what looked like a trio of giant cats attacking and draining anyone they could pounce, "Alright kitties, it's time to go back to the zoo!" He called out, gathering energy as he went into his dragon claw gauntlet.
Jumping high into the air the senshi was wrapped in green energy, all of which gathering around his dragon claw gauntlet, and he brought his fist down on one of the trio of cats with a loud, echoing roar that sounded more like what a dragon then a human.
*****
The roar was a sound that Spinel knew well, one that had him hopping from the gazeebo, across a few light poles, and over to where he could feel the energy that could only belong to a certain dragon he knew. His eyes went a bit wide behind his mask, a few colorful curses escaping from his lips, as he saw not the senshi that he knew but one that had been granted a greater power from that wench Selene, "Damn it... this isn't good." Best that he found Gypsum since it might be best that they just leave the youma as a distraction and get out before the dragon even knew that they were around. The last thing that he wanted was to take a punch to the ribs by the upgraded dragon senshi.
Looking around Spinel set to searching the area, trying to find Gypsum.

Veles turned his attention to the acolyte that appeared, surprisingly taking away the youma that he had been about to take some swings at. Was that... it? Surely he wasn't giving up so easily? To be honest he looked a touch confused when the other complained about him 'breaking Lucy' but he wouldn't feel guilty about it. Standing up right he said, "There is nothing for me to feel guilty about, Acolyte, you're the one releasing savage monsters onto innocent people just going about their day! You send the youma away so I guess that means it's me and you, and don't think I will hold back!"
There always seemed to be more enemies then there were allies, far too many acolytes and youma for his liking, and he had to fight hard for Selene! As the acolyte attacked, throwing threads at them, Veles gathered more energy about him, and snapped himself free from the threads as though they were just that, nothing but mere string, before he moved forward. The other's kick connected... but all that happened was his head snapping to one side before he turned back to looking toward Gypsum, "You're new at this, aren't you? Attacking a dragon? Silly Acolyte, and here I thought that you might be some sort of challenge like Lord Ametrine is."
"As you go crawling back to your cohorts tell that Super Sailor Veles will take all of you on!" He declared before drawing back his dragon claw gauntlet into a tight fist, gathered more energy, and swung it forward toward Gypsum's midsection.
*****
Cursing fluently as he saw that Gypsum meant to fight with the dragon senshi, not only fight him but do it alone and in hand to hand combat, Spinel was quick to copy cat Gypsum's power. It wasn't the best one in the world but he wasn't really all that interested in trying to go into a fist fight with Veles using the dragon's power. Better that he employ the use of the threads just right... but before that he called out, "Gypsum! Stand down and don't you..." He never even got the chance to finish as Gypsum took a swing at Veles, giving the dragon a fierce kick... though it was one the armored senshi seemed to shrug off.
Hopping down off of the light pole that he was on Spinel hurried forward, summoning up some of the threads, tossing them forward to try to entangle the dragon's arm. It wasn't anywhere near enough to actually stop him from punching Gypsum but it might be enough to keep him from smashing the poor kid the same way that he'd crushed the cat youma Lucy.

Veles gave a little grunt as he saw that his punch didn't do nearly the damage that he'd hoped for, with the dangerous acolyte still seemingly alright. He blinked a couple times before he turned to look at the red threads that had tangled around his arm, following them to a familiar masked acolyte. Giving a little growl he said, "So it seems that all of you acolytes are a fans of teaming up against people. I shouldn't be shocked though, I already saw Cebera and Ametrine use this sort of cowardly tactic as well!" He said, grabbing hold of both the red and white threads that were tangling his arm, "Well then, it seems that I need to show you that I am not like most senshi! I am not afraid of you or the way you need to gang up on us!"
Gathering more energy into his body the armored senshi said, "You many not think adding 'Super' to my name changes things, but it most certainly does, Acolytes!" He declared, before lifting a foot off the ground, "Earth Dragon Shake!" He called out, bringing his foot down against the ground, sending shock waves in all directions that set the area around himself shaking violently. He wasn't planning on unleashing his new power, not when it was a bit of a messy one, but that was before he realized that there were multiple acolytes around.
*****
A cursing sound escaped from Spinel as the world started to rumble under his feet, throwing him backwards. After stumbling around for a moment he jumped up and away from the dragon, landing on a tree. Once there he released the threads that were attached to the dragon, producing new ones that he sent flying forward to wrap themselves around Gypsum, "This is mine, dragon senshi! I won't let you have him!" He snarled, dragging Gypsum away from Super Sailor Veles and toward him. He'd already lost Mischa, he wouldn't lose Gypsum as well.
"Release the threads attached to the dragon, Gypsum!" He said, using a power that reached into a person's mind, dominating them for a split second, and caused them to listen to his very specific orders. The moment that Gypsum did as he was told he gave another yank on the threads to get him that much further away from Veles and the violently shaking earth that the dragon stood on.

Super Sailor Veles watched as the one that he was fighting was dragged away by the red threads that were suddenly tangled around him. It was something that had him shaking his head, "Hey! You're not going to get away that easily!" He called after the pair who were now perched in a tree before him, looking as though they were planning on fleeing. He couldn't allow that, he had to fight! He had to deal with them! There were too many acolytes, not enough senshi, and they needed to win a decisive battle against them! He'd do this for Selene!
Allowing the shaking to stop Veles went charging forward, gathering energy as he went, and slammed his fist against the trunk of the tree that the pair were standing atop of. It gave an awful sound as the trunk shattered, the tree tipping over before him.
*****
Spinel looked down at the boy that he had reeled in, scooping him up when it seemed as though he wasn't able to really carry his own weight. It would appear as though the senshi had injured him more then Gypsum seemed willing to let on. Not a good sign but it was something that he had more then expected to happen when Gypsum decided that he would go charging in against the dragon senshi. Giving a shake of his head he said, "You need to be more careful, the dragon senshi is one that is difficult to deal with, he was dangerous when he was first awakened and it would appear that Selene has decided to make him even more so."
He shifted Gypsum in his grasp, about to jump from his perch when the option was taken away from him, the senshi suddenly charging toward them, landing a powerful punch against the tree, one that tipped the thing right over, "Oh for the love of..." He didn't get to finished, hugging Gypsum to his chest as the tree fell over landing in a heap in the branches with Gypsum landing on his chest, "Damn dragonkin."

Sailor Veles starred at the pair that were landing on the ground, tangled up in the tree before them, and he set to gathering more power to himself. The pair of Acolytes were down at his feet and he would be able to knock the both of them out! In doing so that would give him a chance to do... something with them. He couldn't really say what he would do once he'd captured them, maybe take them to Selene? He really couldn't say, he'd never taken prisoners before, but it seemed as though it might be something that would need done.
"This is your fault! I am tired of you acolytes constantly attacking everyone!" He said as he drew back his fist, a bunch of swirling energy gathering around him as he prepared to strike... when a figure in white appeared between Super Sailor Veles and the pair of fallen acolytes.
The figure lifted a hand, holding it in front of Veles, "Hold, dragon, ask yourself, is it justice to attack foes who are already defeated? Are you still walking the path of a hero if you strike someone on the ground?"
Questions that had Veles giving pause, glancing toward the ones that were behind the staff wielding senshi. That pause caused the energy he had in his hands to dissipate, leaving Spinel with an opening that would allow for escape.
*****
Spinel had no idea who the new senshi was, not recognizing him from the past, but that didn't matter. He didn't know who he was but he was able to stay the dragon's hand. Shoving himself to his feet he scooped Gypsum into his arms, "We're leaving." He said to him before jumping, landing on top of another tree, then jumped a few more times, getting them out of the park and onto the roof of a nearby building. He gasped for a breath behind his mask before he gave a long string of curses.
"Damn dragon, come on, Gypsum, we are going to Slice since it's closer to where we are then my place." He told him, heading in that direction. It wasn't the ideal place to hunker down and inspect Gypsum's wounds, but at least if they were in his office nobody would disturb them.
