Appearance: Of average height and build, she has a dark, almost olive, complexion and lips that nearly always seem to be pursed. Her long, thick mane of jet black hair sways at hip-length and her vivid green eyes hardly miss a thing. Her hands a rough from hard work in the fields and stables and are permanently stained from the inks she uses to create elaborate prints in her spare time.
Personality:Thick and calloused at first impression, she's really very shy. Her sharp wit and cool words are only a cover up for the deep unease and inadequacy she faces. Catch her off guard and you'll see a completely different person than you thought was there. She works well under pressure, being used to heavy responsibilities, but stresses easily under scrutinization.
Bio:The youngest daughter of the Lord Holder, Sheria's father is desperate to marry off the sixth of his daughters. A surprise, There are nearly fifteen turns between her and her next oldest sister, and her parents were tired of raising children. All her life she's worked hard to impress her parents who had little time away from hold duties. She listened to every word that was spoken to her, memorized every lesson, in the hopes of winning their affection. Gradually she tired of the constant battle and decided to break off from her strict routine of being "holder's daughter" and to start acting like a real holder, seeing as the Lord had no sons to pass on his rank to. So she began to make annual rounds on her own power to visit all of the smaller holds and getting to know her people. They really did take to her, and she to them, but, only two short turns after she'd starting coming into her own, she found herself in this rather curious position of being kidnapped by the parasites of the planet, the dragon riders, kicking and screaming and biting and swearing and kicking all the way to Benden, which is where we join her now.
Pets:As the youngest of a large family, she has a ways to go until it's her turn.

Pointers for editing: I like this character! I'm gonna have to ask you to pick a place. Right now the title says she's a holder, but the profile says she's been chosen to be a candidate. If you want to turn down the candidacy and have your character return to the hold eventually, this is okay and it's perfectly fine to leave everything as is, and will provide an interesting storyline if you choose to do that. But if she is gonna be an actual candidate, you'll just need to amend the title of is thread to say she's a candidate.
Obviously, either way we can still role play the whole occurrence of the kidnap and the subsequent stuff, but for just admin purposes, the title needs to be definite.
If you could amend the Location to ever past or future tense, rather than present, that'd be great. Just say something like you were beholden to Valert and that, but say that she is going to be kidnapped and taken as an unwilling candidate to Benden Weyr.

After that, I think this is a great profile for submission! :3
