Kai snorted at the two, his hand resting on the red ''engage'' button. His months of medical leave left his trigger finger itching. His eyes wandered down to Cornelius and Trin, then back to his hand. ..One little ride wont hurt..Right Captain Stark? Kai gave a devious grin before hitting the button. The room filled with gusts of wind as his mech lifted from the ground, the support tubes breaking loose from the mech's body.

Heh. . . Yup. He was right. Definitely going to set up a wager on this.

Hmm. Wait, Wasn't Kai going on about Wanting to leave but couldn't? Eh. It wasn't any of Cornelius's Problem so why worry? Besides, he needed to get out there too.

With diagnostics run, he checked over his weapons. Yup. All green. Time to get going.

Leaping into the tube to his Cockpit deep inside the Center of his Mech he began the Preliminary start-up Sequence. The Engines began to roar, Echoing out of Speakers hooked to Mics next to them. He liked it. It made his Bestial Mech seem even more so and let everybody Know who was leaving. Only one more thing left. . .

He typed in the command code for the catwalk release and the Hanger systems moved everything clear for him to leave. Maybe he could catch up with Kai? A good Practice session in the Live-Fire fields would be a good warm up. Though, He really didn't need another a** chewing. His Commander was an idiot and It was awkward for him and Stark when Stark was forced to reprimand him. They had both served in the field together after all. They had countless times saved the other and had been hero's on more than one occasion. Well, That was what Cornelius got for turning promotions down. Luckily they let him keep the substantial Pay raise.

Earth shaking, his Beast of a Mech sprinted slowly from the Hanger and onto the Field. A once around the Hanger to be sure the Legs were in good shape and then off to Patrol. Maybe if he was lucky he could gun down a Freya Unit or two. Something to give him a reason to not Destroy more landscape to relieve boredom.

Trin finnished her work and used the lift to get back down to the hanger floor. i need a shower

Kai looked back and saw Cornelius climb into his own mech. He snorted, Damn Captain Stark...cant keep me locked in here like a pet. Cornelius cant either.. About a few feet away from the exit of the catwalk and out to open air, one of gazelle's wires caught between a few gears and tore, making his entire mech go into shock. Bloody hell! Kai slammed his fist into control board, furious with constant electrical shorts. Trin was right, but he never admitted he was wrong.

Told you!Trin sauntered off to her locker. idiot he knew it wasn't ready yet

Shut up!! Nobody asked you! Kai grumbled and climbed out of his seat, hitting the ''eject'' button to open the hatch. He climbed down the front of his mech before reaching the shortened wire. Kai sighed and started to fix the wire. Once he finished connecting and protecting the wires, he climbed back into the cockpit and restarted his engine, this time having no trouble gliding off the catwalk and into the field.

Cornelius had seen what happened, turned to help but from the looks of things it was al taken care of. Oh well. That would make it harder to get him back in.

His Mech sprinted faster now, rounding over a small Hillock. The legs curling beneath it as the thrusters equipped inside kicked into life. The powerful limbs pushed outward, propelling it up and forward towards the Hanger, and Kai. He wasn't aiming to hit him or anything. Just cut him off a bit. You had to take Medical orders seriously. That s**t got you killed in the field. '

Kai watched as Cornelius got closer. Gazelle's hand extended forewrad to grab hold of the other mech. What the hell? I cant even walk around a bit, you guys take it like Im bleeding from the head. I only have a few days to lay around on my a**. Im tired of it. Move it or i'll move you myself. Gazelle tightened its grip on Cornelius' mech, then started to push him aside.

Cornelius almost laughed at the sight. Kai's little Mech giving his a push. Well, It doesn't go down like that with his baby. Cornelius pushed further into the hanger, Dug his pistons deep into the ground, and hunched down to keep the Center of gravity low. His Mech turned into a wall. Flipping on his Com he called over,

"Hey. You gotta take this seriously. When all is said and done then you get to go have fun but until then, you get to wait. Life just sucks like that, you know?"

(( ALL CREATIVITY IS WASHED AWAY IN THE STORM OF MY PAIN AND SUFFERING! Pfft. I have no idea what I'm talking about. ))

Kai growled and sidestepped the other mech. He then sprinted back to the feild, only getting halfway there before Gazelle had another electrical short. Bloody hell! Again? You piece of s**t! Kai slammed his fist into the board infront of him, denting the metal dashboard. He sighed and thought for a moment, wondering what was causing his mech to have so many shorts like this. Before the ambush, it would maybe have a couple every hour. But now, its gone to 2 or 3 every couple minutes.

"I warned you. Now I have to take you in myself."

Cornelius brought his Mech up and around to Kai's. The large head leaned down, great Maw opening wide and gently biting onto Kai's Mech, lifting it easily. Heavy Mechs. Not much for speed but you could sure as hell count on their Power. Looking much like a Giant Mechanical T-rex with a meal, Cornelius Brought Kai back to the hanger. Dropping him to the floor. Eh. If there was an damage the Mechanics could take care of it.

"Maybe you'll Listen next time, eh?"

Kai growled and ignored Cornelius as much as he could. Atleast take me with you when you go on patrol or something...Im bored as hell sitting around here. Gazelle went through a few more shocks before he stood, there were small holes in between the cuffs of his shoulder, but no major damage was done.

"Well, if you had asked instead of Just running off I would have been happy to take you with me."

Some people and their Pride. There would be room in his secondary Cockpit. It hung down just above the Rifle. You couldn't do anything while the Primary Cockpit was active but it let you see what the cameras saw and if you were in combat you could be sure you'd get a shake.

"Get on in. I'm alte enough as it is."

His Mech couched low, a small hatch opening and a rope ladder extending down. That was how you were supposed to get in the Mech since there was a ladder inside that led up from the secondary Cockpit to the Primary but Cornelius liked to climb. It kept him in shape.

Kai ejected himself from his mech and climbed the ladder into Cornelius'. Up in the secondary cockpit he looked into the cameras to see everything out infront of them. The hatch closed tightly and Kai turned on his mic, This is pretty cool...Im ready when you are. Kai leaned back in his chair, resting his arms behind his head.
