Lucy smiles at Amyth. "Thank you." She turns her attention to Nathaniel and is just about to agree, but freezes as she hears someone running towards them. She hides behind Nathaniel, scared that it is Akumu. "Please don't let him hurt me again, Mister.." She whispers.


Hotaru Minami
Hotaru runs full sprint, in fox form, up to the gate, her senses fixed on Akumu's scent. Not noticing where she was and clearly not caring at the moment, she growls, looking for him and Lucy. "Where is that puppet.." She sniffs the air again and whips her head around to the house, searching for Akumu or Lucy.

 

[Banshee Cupcake]

Nat looked down at Lucy surprised when she hid behind him. When a nine-tailed fox came up to the gate and pushed all the other girls behind him. "Nobody move alright?" "Nathaniel we can take care of ourselves." "Nat didn't you say this Hotaru person was a nine-tailed?" "Yeah.... But I don't know what she looks like in her fox or human form."

Lucy
Lucy peaks around Nat's body and lets out a large smile. "Its okay. You don't have to worry. It's safe." She bolts over to Hotaru, jumping over the fence, and tackling her.



Hotaru Minami
Hotaru's eyes get wide as she sees Lucy run towards her. She transforms, fully clothed, back into her human form. She catches her in her arms and brushing some hair out of Lucy's face. "Oh, thank goodness. If I would have known, I would never have left you out of my sight." She says worriedly, as she inspects Lucy for any damage. Her eyes narrow at the marks on her face.

"Nathaniel you got worried over nothing." Titania huffed as Nathaniel smiled sheepishly. She sighed before walking over to the gate and opening it. "Apologies for not being able to stop young Lucy from getting hurt. I had no idea that man was going to harm her. I healed what I could but it's been a long time since I've used healing magic." "Ok yeah, I did. But didn't I look cool though?" Amyth giggled at Nat and nodded."Yes you did."

Lucy continues to smile and stands up.



Hotaru Minami
Hotaru looks up at the others, she bows her head politely. "Thank you for keeping her in one piece and healing her to the best of your ability. I can heal them up the rest of the way." She stands up and smiles, running her fingers through Lucy's hair. "It's quite alright. Akumu-.." She pauses frowning as she says the last part. "-Sama, has his..um..moments. He can be very unpredictable."

 

[Banshee Cupcake]

"Moments or not he shouldn't harm a child. Maybe I should teach him a lesson myself." Nat looked at Titania shocked and teleported next to her. "Are you sure about that? I-i-i mean I can barely beat him in combat and well you... When was the last time you fought someone?" "I'll place a bounty on his head. You two are citizens yes? I won't allow him to hurt any of my citizens, so I may just join you Titania."[

Hotaru Minami
Hotaru takes a step back, holding Lucy close. "I understand, he should never lay a hand on any child, but please, if you do fight him.." She stiffens and whispers to Lucy. "Transform now, dear and stay behind them. I will deal with Akumu."


Lucy
Lucy stiffens and backs slowly away from Hotaru, transforming into a small white cat with a pink ribbon around her neck. She follows her orders and runs next to Nat, hiding behind his feet.

Akumu appears behind Hotaru, just as Lucy hides behind Nat and leans his face to the side of her face. He grins and wraps an arm around her shoulder, his long black painted fingers draw lines across her neck. "Why haven't you visited me, Fox? It's been far to long and I have already seen Spider and Lu today." He slowly tightens the ribbon hanging around her neck, before releasing it. "Don't let it happen again." He hisses in her ear and disappears in a cloud of smoke.

Hotaru Minami
Hotaru remains emotionless and still as Akumu threatens her. Her eyes glazed over and still. She slightly winces as he tightens her ribbon, but otherwise remains still and emotionless. When he leaves her eyes return to normal and she straightens out her ribbon, like nothing ever happened.

Caelus limped down the street weak from hunger and covered in scratches from some wild animal. He mewed quietly, feeling so much self-pity His stomach growled. Since being in Cellest, he had only been eating out of garbage cans, though sometimes he got table scraps, but not usually. He neared a house, then collapsed from starvation.

Hollow teleported back to Ruby's House, but he wasn't outside. He teleported inside. But he had no idea where in the house he was. And being drunk now, he had no idea which way to move. He looked over, and saw what looked like a bed. So, upon instinct, he went over to lie down on it. He jumped on it, his left leg handing over then edge and the rest of his body sprawled out. Little did he know that he was now sleeping on Ruby's bed.

Lucy licks his cheek and then turns her attention to the cat. She jumps out of his arms and runs to the cat. She sits down and looks at Hotaru, pleading.



Hotaru Minami
Hotaru looks over at Lucy and sighs. She walks over, becoming more and more concerned as she gets closer. She kneels down and examines the cat and sighs. "Looks like he just needs some t.l.c and something to eat." She holds her hands over his wounds, healing them.

 

[Banshee Cupcake]

Titania tilted her head when Lucy transformed into a small cat and watched frustrated when Akumu appeared. "Hey wait a minute!" she growled before reaching to grab Akumu and groaned when he got away. Nat frowned and picked Lucy up carefully. "Aww well aren't you a cute little kitty cat?" Amyth giggled before noticing another cat nearby had collapsed and jumped over the fence to go pick him up and carried him back. "I think this little guy needs food." She frowned and held him carefully.

Meanwhile Ruby around the group and landed in the backyard. Hopping off her broom she snapped her fingers making it disappear and yet in through the back door. Quietly she went up the stairs to her room and opened the door to see.... "Hollow?" She couldn't help but giggle a little bit at how he was sprawled out. She walked over and lifted his leg carefully onto the bed and walked around the other side and looked at his sleeping face. He's kind of adorable when he's asleep. Not as angry looking either. She giggled a bit before crawling on the bed and sitting on it. She reached out carefully before booping his nose.

Love is war.

Hollow's nose twitched and he rolled over, wrapping his arms around the nearest thing, in this case Ruby, and pulling her down. When he id, his face was only a few inches from hers, and even though he had just drank, one would not be able to smell the alcohol on his breath. In the current position, he had both of his arms around Ruby, hugging her close to him, still asleep.

Ruby squeaked when Hollow pulled her down before putting her hands over her mouth. She looked at Hollow and blushed with his face so close to hers. She looked down and noticed her leg and skirts were draped over his legs so she quickly but carefully moved her leg and attempted to move the skirts so they weren't over his legs. I can't move or I'll wake him up.... What should I do?

Lucy purrs as she watches them care for the cat. She trots back up to Hotaru and transforms back into a human girl.

Hotaru pulls her hands away and stands back up, wrapping an arm around Lucy. "Come sweetheart, I am sure they can handle everything. We need to go back to the Inn before it gets dark."



Lucy
Lucy smiles, nodding. "Okay, but first let me do this." She says running over to the others, bowing politely. "Thank you all for everything and please tell Mister Hollow that I said thank you." She hugs Nat. "Thank you.." She whispers before releasing him and turning around to go back to Hotaru.

Hollow moved around uncomfortably, not noticing the small figure he was still holding. All he knew was that it was small and warm. And the scent was familiar. He really didn't want to open his eyes, for he was still tired. But, he did so anyway, opening them slowly. The sight he was met with surprised him, and he rolled over onto the floor, backing up against the wall. "I am responsible for nothing that happened last night!" he proclaimed loudly.
