Chupi taints all who meet him in one way or another... ninja Oh yeah, out of curiosity... What do you guys think of my doves of war, Ares and Acheron? =O They're actually cyborgs of sorts, inside their beaks are tiny little laser cannons... Not very effective against a full sized humanoid, but they're more than a match for a bald eagle. And they'd probably be useful for eye surgery or something.
Eye surgery... @_@;

Oh, and I think your doves of war are cute in this menacing sort of way. >w<~

No, but Acheron is essentially the god of death itself. I originally thought Athena, but Ares and Athena are both a bit overused. ... And I just don't like the name Mars. Then mixing Ares and Minerva? Just not right.

Thanatos and Hades were the gods of death (technically Hades is the god of the Underworld/Hell/Hades/Tartaurus/whatever else they call it, but that kinda makes him a god of death. Thanatos was the acctuall god of Death.) Acheron was a part of the River Styx or the link between Hades and the mortal world I think. It translates to "River of Woe" and is where the newly dead souls would be carried across into hades.
There are 5 rivers. Acheron(Woe or Sorrow), Cocytus(Lamentation), Lethe(Forgetfullness), Phlegethon(Fire), and Styx(hate)

(And the fact that the roman equivalent of Hades is Pluto, and they just made it so Pluto isnt a planet, makes me hate the scientists that made that choice.)

Acheron was also the name of the fairyman who brought you across the river. He took the form of a scrawney old man usually depicted with a big a** hammer or a scythe, and is pretty much the origin of the modern day depictions of the grim reaper.

******** ******** ******** ******** s**t! >_O I'm sure all of you guys have felt MUCH worse, but god damn. Just fell through the porch bringing groceries in and not only did my leg get caught and slightly twist between the boards, but my head hit the god damn snow shovel! >_O So now I've got a bleeding head and a banged up leg just below the knee. (It's only bruised, but hurts like a b***h.) I know it's not the snow's fault, but somehow I still so badly wish to blame this on Maine. @_@

No, that's the most f-words I have seen used by Chupi. @_@ But all is forgiven, as it sounds like you've been through a lot of pain.

Get well sooooon! o 3o;

Because of climate change this summer the average day would at least be above 86 degrees fahrenheit. I do not have air-conditioning. I spent 5 days in the country and brushed my teeth with bore water: yellow, pungent smelling and drawn from the ground.
To top it off Melbourne has water restrictions.

... would you prefer my lifestyle in Melbourne to yours in Valskog?

86 degrees? THATS NOTHING! I have endured 90-100 degree weather for weeks on end. Thats Cali for ya. Then again, living in it all your life kinda makes you used to it. XP Its the cold Im not used to.

I mentioned above 86 degrees, KPJ. I recalled one day it was 95.5 degrees celcius. ._______.;;
And my whole summer was sweltering heat.

BTW, I have no air-conditioning or heating. razz

Gaah, I finally figured it out! gonk

First paragraph of blurb on Stephen King's IT:
To the children, the town was their whole world. To the adults, knowing better, Derry, Maine was just their home town: familiar, well-ordered for the most part. A good place to live.

THAT'S why Maine sounded so familiar. I haven't read IT in a long time, and when Chupi mentions Maine, "Hmm, it's as if I heard it somewhere before..."
Now I know! ò___ó

Maine is King's home state, almost every single one of his novels takes place here. @_@ It's kind of a hellish place, especially if you like the heat like I do. Lately our summers have had average temperatures of 80 degrees, sometimes surpassing 90... But our winters? Blargofaga! >_O In the summers, my room is almost always at a constant 85 - 95 degrees, and honestly... I love it. As do the lizards. But of course, we have plenty of access to clean fluids.

"Blargofaga"?

Melbourne is supposed to be cloudy "city weather".
Oh, and Melburnian water is practically SWEET to what I had to drink at Watarah Bay. And no, it's not the pungent smelling seawater at the rock pools. >>;;

I still have marchfly bites. 16 in total. And I STILL have the itty-bitty scratch Ai-chan gave me a year ago. It's so ridiculously small.
* <-- it's around this size. She would've laughed if I shown it to her, the scar is the sign of how weak I am and how strong she is in comparison.

Your body seems to be pretty craptastic when it comes to withstanding physical damage. ... And huh, I've gotta finish coming up with whatever the hell is in Chupi's box he sent the General.

EDIT: Yeah, editing out some unecessary cursing and some other crap. I seriously must wonder how these little things stay with you for so long though.

My mother says it's the fact because I don't eat meat, don't exercise (I do yoga? I thought it was exercise! crying ) and is a "spoilt brat who doesn't finish what's on their plate."

Oou ou, I like grapefruit juice and drink it on a regular basis but I am not like you Chupi. o 3o;

Not to mention that my emotions are super craptastic compared to my physical endurance. I am known to cry for hours on end over something that seems trivial and mediocre for hours. They just don't understand the importance of it! >=O

XP Nice final note there. Eating meat probably would help actully, but yoga is indeed an exercise of sorts. Human beings are... Strange things. Their intestinal tract is still that of a herbivorous animal, and yet their body digests animal products better and absorbs essential nutrients from them with much greater ease. Hell, you don't even get a lot of the nutrition from most plants you ingest because of just how much fo a hard time the human body has with them. Though mixing them can cause chemical reactions that help great amounts with that. For example, corn on it's own is nearly undigestable, but eating it with lime instead of alone will solve that issue on its own.

The main thing is knowing what mixes to make so your body can properly do it's job with whatever it is you're ingesting, and even simply eating vegetable matter with animal proteins can help. *Ponders.* Vegetarian or vegan? Because vegetarianism is a life style that can very easily be healthy since it would still let you ingest milk, unfertilized eggs, and maybe even cheese.
