Keyblades. A mystical weapon that has existed for as long as anyone can remember. Those that wield them are referred to as Keybladers, and they use these weapons to either protect the worlds, or destroy them. They Keyblade seems to have no morality compass on it, going to whoever it deems best to wield it.

Originally, these people would run around willy-nilly, swinging their weapon with no clear goal in mind. But that was before the five factions were made. Each one rivaled the other, and they sent their followers out to destroy Heartless. But a sixth among them walked the path to darkness, sparking hatred wherever they went. Soon, everyone learned of a strong and mysterious power, known only as the X-Blade. And it rested for certain within once place. Kingdom Hearts. Those who were corrupted by the Darkness wielded their Keyblades against those that tried to protect it, sparking what would soon come to be known as The Great Keyblade War. Many lost their lives, and their Keyblades were stuck in the ground, never to be wielded again. Those that survived left, hoping a day like this would never come again. Slowly throughout history, the Keyblade War was forgotten, the world it took place on becoming a barren wasteland. The few Masters that remembered it, passed it down to their pupils. And with that, the bloody history was never forgotten.

Now, Keybladers seems to come as a rarity, never in such huge numbers as they once were. Maybe this is for the best, so that a war can never happen again. Or maybe, there are many others out there, biding their time. No one knows for sure. But... this isn't what you're here about, is it? of course it's not! Let's get into the action!

The Reckoning is much like "harbinger" of the Keyblade War, a staple in the series. Though things are... much different this time. Time has been tampered with, causing worlds from the past to appear in the present. Enemies once thought long gone have made their appearance once more. The World of Dreams has begun to merge with reality.

The Union, or "the good guys" are gathering all the Keybladers and Heroes that they can. The "Book of Prophecies" has told them of ways to prevent all this from happening. But, little do they know, it is all lies...

Organization XII, no longer an organization of Nobodies, but instead the strongest of the "bad guys" has surfaced, and threatens each world with darkness. Rumors abound that they have found a way to access the Realm of Darkness, and use this power to throw all worlds into darkness.

And lastly, The Royal Saints. Those that stay "neutral" in these battles. Those that wish to avoid the war in any way they can. They fight for each other, to try and save all the worlds.

But... what is your role? Are you a member of The Union, leader of one of the five factions? Or even one of its many members?

Are you a member of Organization XIII, one of their elite members, or even just a grunt under them?

Or are you one of The Royal Saints, trying to keep everything from going to war? Or even an apprentice under them?

It is your story, the pages are all blank. Only you can decide how it will begin, and how it will end.
