In the 1800s the west was blooming! Everyone wanted a piece of the american dream, even those that the settlers did not know existed. Yes, even the creatures of myth, wanted a piece of the west. And they found it in the town of Midnight Valley. With the Sheriff to protect them, many sought refuge there, living their own version of the American Dream.

The old west was the nickname given to the west portion of the United States during the 1800s. "The American west featured all sorts of people from pioneers and scouts to lawmen, outlaws, gangs and gunfighters (gunslingers), to the American cowboy, and legendary pioneering women on the frontier." (thewildwest.org) Saloons were their bars, and they were wild. The women who lived in the west had to be tough, since it was not an easy place to live. There was no electricity, running water, or many of the current luxuries we have today. Women were expected to wear dresses that came to right above their ankles. Saloon girls, were the ...cultered ladies wink ... of the old west, often preforming in Saloons.
