Welcome to Panem
Many years ago, the people rose up against their Capitol and were put in their rightful place. To remind the people just how strong they were, the Capitol put an event known as The Hunger Games into place. These are an annual event in which tributes, two children, a boy and girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen, are sent off to the Capitol to participate in a fight to the death broadcast on national television. Only one can win. Are the odds in your favor?

Of course, there are still rumors of resistance from District Thirteen, which of course does not exist. Or does it? Take a chance and see!
Requirements
We ask that you please be semi-literate to literate. We ask for two paragraphs per post with at least five sentences each. You also should be able to stay fairly active. We also ask that you create original characters. This is an alternate universe timeline. No Snow, No Katniss, and No Coin.

First off, you're going to want to read through this guide which may or may not have a secret phrase. Then, you're going to want to provide us with a roleplay sample, and maybe even tell us a bit about yourself if you've got the space.
