Well, I don't think anyone thought this was a bad idea -- the difficulty was adding some code on the server so that we could cleanly close it down. (Although, in theory, servers should never need to be rebooted, so this is a little bit hacky. At least theory and practice are the same, in theory).

You mean they've decided to actually
schedule regular Server cycles?
eek
What an incredibly unique and ingenious idea!
blaugh
Now why couldn't I have thought of that?

Just a small note....I'd have been even more sarcastic, but I think I might have hurt myself if I did.

I'm going to assume you're referring to the
automated cycling process, which I've come to understand does have some inherent challenges.
What I Understood the Post was referring to was manually cycling the Servers, which, while I don't know the intimate detail, I thought was fairly straight forward, but had never been prioritised.
If the Post we're all talking about is about automation, then consider my sarcasm in error, and withdrawn.
