Yeah, what the mass thinks isn't always the best. :/
However, this is a way to get the zOMG community involved and whatnot.
I'm not particularly fond of Registered Offender either, but it's great that they're doing contests like this.

I would agree with you if there had been a site-wide announcement about this with lots of people voting to get gold. But considering the fact that the only people who voted on this are zOMG-forum regs I'd like to think that people who frequent this forum actually care about the game and would not just "omg goldz"-vote.
Registered Offender has quite a following so I don't find it surprising at all that it's winning~
