ZOMG: Cheri's Twin Quest Bug?

Ok, so I'm on the part of Gustav's quest for Cheri's Twin where I need to retrieve bronze. Except...I have 8 bronze's. (3 loot drops, 5 bought to see if that would do anything.) He wont take it and the PDA won't show me the next part of the quest. gonk

Help?

You have to find the items in-game while on the quest for it to count~

I finally figured it out. I had enough stuff to mix the recipe several times over, but the thing is, it only counts the ones that are dropped AFTER you accept the quest! So I still had to go collect stuff that I had tons of. confused
