Hello there and welcome to my shop. I would like to propose a little experiment that I have wanted to try for a very long time but never had the time to set it up. I would like to write a long story in the form of a television show. That is to say, I'm looking for a commissioner with enough characters to make up the "cast" (that is to say 3-5) for a "show" in which chapters will constitute episodes and a group of episodes will constitute the plot for one season.

As this will be a fairly long-term project, I will be writing only one "show" at a time. If you are interested in such a commission, please read on for more details and for the process of application.

Before I write anything more, I want to emphasize that, yes, I am saying "tv show", but it will be in prose (novel format), not in the form of a script (hence the "written" bit). Now, on to the details of my little project:

→ one chapter is the equivalent of one episode; a clutter of chapters (determined together) will constitute the "season".

→ each season will have one main story arc which will feature in every episode (though how much of the plot is dealt with will vary from chapter to chapter). Each episode will feature minor plot lines focusing on the various characters. Some of these plot lines may be self-contained in the episode, others might be recurring.

→ the main season intrigue will be discussed between both parties. The commissioner will determine their own level of involvement in the show's progression. The show may be in an AU world to the commissioner's characters, or follow their 'canon'.

→ the "contract" will be for one season. However, upon the completion of the "season", the "show" may be resigned for a second season.

→ payment will work like this: a sum for the whole season will be negotiated between both parties and ten (10) percent of that sum will be paid each time an episode is completed and "aired" (ie, posted); upon the airing of the final episode, the remaining sum will be paid in full. If a second season is requested, its price will be the amount of the first season plus twenty (20) percent.

→ that's all the information I have for right now. If after reading all of this you still have some questions, inquire within the thread. Once the question has been answered, the rules will consequently be updated

There are too many genres that exist for me to actually write out a list every single genre in an order of preference; what I'll do instead, is mention the ones here that I'm most comfortable with and the ones that I would rather not write for at all. This is a good list to look up other genres that aren't mentioned here. Feel free to also inquire about genres not listed on Wikipedia, but be prepared to explain them well if I'm unsure as to what they refer to.

slice of life

→ will not write for these genres:
erotica
horror

I reserve the right to update this list as more genres are brought to my attention, or as I experiment with genres I've never written for before.

This will not be a first come, first served business. "Casting" will take place from July 16th to July 23rd, 2O14. During this time, casting applications must be posted in the thread only; any forms sent by private message will be ignored and the applicant will be banned from the show. (questions may be sent by private message and exceptions may occur for the form, but forms immediately sent privately are the ones that will be punished).

[b]Budget & negotiability:[/b] again, how much you'd like to spend on the commission. Include whether this price is negotiable or not if your form is accepted.
[b]Characters:[/b] the characters you'd like featured in the show. 3 or 4 are good numbers of characters. 2 is fine if I love them and you'll allow me to add some of my own characters in the mix. Anything over 5 characters is a bit much & may require some persuading. I would also prefer it if you had a link to character profiles. If you don't, please do use the spoiler codes. If you have a good idea as to which characters you would like as lead/supporting character/etc, then you can mention that now. If not, then that's not a problem at all and will be discussed at a later stage. (note: your original characters don't all need to be from the same story. If you have many characters all from different "verses" that you would like all thrown together in the same story, that's totally fine as well).

Idea(s) for plot: Plot? No. Prompt? Yes. The CIA got some intels suggesting that Xavier is dealing in salted bombs with the Russian and decided to send in May undercover as his secretary to gather info. His last one in his employment quit just under a week due to his demanding nature.
Number of episodes per season: I like long pieces but it's negotiable.
Budget & negotiability: 2 billions per episode(as long as they're at least 1000 words) but this is negotiable as well.
Characters:
Maylee 'May' Baxter

25 years old, 5'7, long platinum blond hair tied up in a ponytail, ocean blue eyes, ivory skin marred by tiny scars here and there with a bullet-hole scar on her abdomen, toned and fit.
Personality and background: She's one of CIA's finest op agents. No family, no friends, only collegues and contacts. She got different covers in different places and never stay somewhere long enough to settle down. She specialises in going undercover, getting intels, and bringing the bad guys in. She knows her weapons and martial arts and her college courses includes withstanding tortures while keeping her mouth shut. She never have much free time and when she does, she's at a lost as to what to do. She's quick-witted, stubborn, and reckless sometimes. She's a master at acting and never showing her true emotion. She likes what she does and dislikes assholes(regardless of gender.)

Xavier Sinclair

30 years old, 6'1, short, well-styled black hair, black eyes, tanned skin, well-built, well-dressed.
Personality and background: He's a multi-billionaire with portfolios in various industries. A dominant, self-made man. Although there's no solid proof that he's involved in underground dealings and crime syndicates, according to May, no one get that rich that young without getting his hands dirty. He's well-educated, cunning, manipulative, ruthless and unapologetic. Nothing get pass him and he knows his weapons and martial arts well, too. No one know a thing about his past, his family, or where he really came from. Oh, and he have a calculator for a heart(figuratively) most of the time.

Idea(s) for plot: The White Dragon King and the Black Dragon Queen have been fighting for ages, but the Queen was suddenly captured by the cold and heartless King for the Black Dragons to surrender to his rule. He treats her as a slave at first, but they grow closer they spend time with each other. Will the King his hardened heart to be softened by the beautiful, bright, Queen or will he kill her so he can finally conquer his greatest enemy the Black Dragons?
Number of episodes per season: I know this is gonna be long but I don't have a definitive length xp Maybe 7 episodes?
