i hope that made sence
here is a little bit of the writing...just ask if you need more

Pyan rode in the lead, leading his friends through the elfin wilderness. They had passed through a large swamp, and had finally exited the muggy air. The ground had slowly grown firmer as they moved on, and now they were entering a strange forest
The ground was made of white stone, shimmering with a faint blue tint in the moonlight. Tall black trees grew out of the solid stone, their roots crawling over the ground like snakes. The leaves of the trees were two toned, shinning silver on the bottom, and emerald green on the top. Vines hung down from the trees, making this forest one of the oddest he had ever seen.
All the horses stopped suddenly, not daring to set foot on the strange stone. They could see shimmering eyes dancing though the tree trunks, the silver eyes of strange beasts like the golden deer and wraithlike wolf. The deer and the wolves moved peacefully between one and other. Their eyes caught the light of the moon and stone and reflected it like pools of water.
"Where are we?" Laraul asked, her green eyes shimmering in the moonlight. To her the dangerous forest was nothing but beauty. And that it was, but even in the most beautiful things danger could lurk.
"This is the Morith Forest. it surrounds the elfin city of Sinthaleriath." he whispered some words and a ball of flames formed in his hand. Instantly the wild animals of the forest disappeared, the golden tail of the deer slipping between the dark trees till it was out of sight. The wolf lingered longer, watching their small party with hungry eyes.
A silver bird swooped down from the trees, singing its high-pitched song. The feathers gleamed in the light and it seemed an innocent tiny sparrow till you caught a glimpse of its long dagger like claws. Laraul moved her horse closer to Pyan and Evin. Still the mystical forest held her gaze, but now the strange creatures scared her.
Evin looked around the forest with mild interest, taking note of the plant and animal life, seeing what he could collect for potions. He cast a sly glance over at Calian. She sat astride her horse, staring numbly in to the forest. So my pretty, do you like what you see? Since he controlled her mind Evin found it easier just to commentate with his charge through her mind. Even though Pyan was grateful for Evin saving Calian, he still doubted the young man. For good reasons. Each passing moon the power he held over Calian grew. Maybe if the blundering mage had realized earlier what was happening he may have been able to save his love, but soon, with in a week the spell would be irreversible.
You b*****d! I can’t even show the awe the forest inspires in me. Came Calian’s bitter retort. She knew what was happening, she could feel the power growing over her. The voices in her head got louder, blocking out her own thoughts, so Calian was isolated in her small world. Evin would probe each of her answers before she said them, causing her to sound stony and uncaring. She could see the worry in Pyan's eyes but there was nothing she could do. There was no way to tell him. Evin read each of her thoughts.
Hush my love. Everything will be fine. Now, do you want to break the poor mans heart now or later? Evin cast a smile her way, and then catching that Pyan was looking at him he glanced away, bending down to stroke his horse. He can’t save you now. You know that don’t you.
Calian could feel the tears forming in her eyes, or at least what should have been tears. She knew there was nothing she could do, but watch as she destroyed the man she loved. She was sure that Evin would completely crush Pyan, leaving him a crushed empty husk. He would never be the same, because the words filled with venom would be coming from her mouth. Pyan gave her a shy smile. And Evin let her smile. For once she could actually smile. Pyan was so adorable, his eyes filled with love and concerned, and there was nothing she could do.
"Shall we continue on in to the forest?" Pyan asked, raising the hand with the burning ball in it. "Remember stay close." he turned Farron and lead the party in to the forest, the fire above his head casting light down on the stone, turning it a blood red.
Alixe stood shaking, the effects of the bolt of electricity making her body shake. She felt like she had just recovered from flu. Her hand was red, with thin lines, like veins, running up to her shoulder.
In the mirror across from her she could see her self, her flaming red hair standing almost on end, creating a light, fiery halo. Her eyes were a vibrant green, like the leaves of the tree below. Her skin was just as pale and as smooth as the day she had left the Treasure Chest, but a fine sprinkling of freckles had sprung up along her nose.
Alixe looked down at the book, casting her gaze down on to the page that had shocked her. The page laid, a hole burnt through where her finger had touched it. The rest of the page was lost in black ash. Carefully she closed the book, making sure she didn’t disturb any of the ashes.
Behind her the toppled bookcase lay in chaos. The broken glass shone and sparkled as light came through the window. Liquids were all over the floor, seeping though her soft leather shoes. Hastily she moved her foot aside, watching as the liquids crept along the floor to the wall. The liquid was absorbed by the walls, leaving the floor dry.
Feeling unnerved Alixe turned away from the mess and moved to the door. She softly shut the door behind her as she made her descent down the spiralling stairwell. Her finger had started to ache, a dull throb that coursed up her arm. She rubbed her arm gently; looking at the fine network of red marks the shock had left. They stood angrily out opposite the pale skin.
maybe try simplifying it a little. concentrate on one story element for a bit and see where it takes you. if you're really having trouble getting past where you are now, stop trying to go forward. take time to go into the characters moments before. pick some people and get to know them.
do you have a plot outline? that might help.
