It depends on what you're going for. The red won seems angrier and harsher, but the blue one is more tragic. Both seem pretty angsty.

yea its a combination. the main character is killed (when a high school beating goes 2 far) becuase his tear ducts arent functioning (and it looks like he is crying). and his ghost (who cries blood) sets out for revenge. but what happens when he falls in love with one of his former batterers (not a happy ending)

I would feel the blue is better then. Because even though the red symbolises his anger and hatred, the blue shows the conflict which it is he must face in this whole thing.
That place between anger and forgiveness where you only contemplate things.

Well, if the ghost is seeking revenge, then I think that the red one is more appropriate, because the red draws out more emotions of anger and hatred.
