Welcome to Gaia! ::

Hey everyone! I'm essentially new here. The last time I logged in was like May 2007... And I realized it's been about 8 years since last I logged in. So much has changed in my life and Gaia has changed a lot too. Anyway, I'd like to start making friends here. So... a little about me.

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Location: Portland, Oregon

Occupation: Composer, Film Composer, Game Composer

Favorite Composers: Antonio Vivaldi, Ludwig van Beethoven, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Guiseppe Verdi, Richard Wagner, Claude Debussy, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell, Bear McCreary

Favorite Bands: Something Corporate, Mae, Jack's Mannequin, Mayday Parade, Story of the Year, Tonight Alive, Evanescance, Matchbox 20, 98 Degrees

#1 Favorite Song: 98 Degrees - Heaven's Missing an Angel
(I really don't know why but I enjoy singing along with this song.)

#2 Favorite Song: Tenacious D - The Ballad of Hollywood Jack and The Rage Kage
(I can have too much fun rock out and sing along to as well.)

Favorite Video Games: Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars, Fallout: New Vegas, Plague Inc. Evolved, Deadlock, Deadlock II, Descent Freespace, Freespace 2

Favorite Board Games: Chess, Risk, Stratego, Munchkin, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Dungeon Quest, King of Tokyo

Other Stuff: Like all composers, we have a monster setup for our own sound studios in case a client requests everything done remotely in house, or synthesized. So, naturally I could use it for gaming. Sadly I'm what my friends call "passively unproductive" where I watch YouTube videos of people playing games with commentary while I work.

I'm easily humorous when I'm cynical. I've learned that Nothing is offensive or strange for me since I discovered Furries a couple years ago. So, feel free to bring anything up; I'm all ears.

Also as a side note: I do take commissions, but I'm definitely not cheap. xp

Welcome back! Your job sounds very interesting and I'd be lying if I wasn't a little bit jealous that you get to make music all day.
It's fun. Though at times it can be a little hecktic since I'm usually the last person producers or directors call after a production is near completion. For instance, my last client gave me a 2-week deadline for 60-min of music with 90-min of footage and no way to contact the Sound Effects director. I was just like AAARRGGG! He paid well though, I'll give him credit for that.
