INTRODUCTION
Hi!
If you're reading this,
it means you have found my hidden guide
or I've sent you the link for this.
OOOR you shared this freaking guide or whatever.
Anyhow, I created this guide to help some friends
and maybe strangers get a glimpse or idea
how to make gold through Exchanging.
The idea is simple.
It's BUY LOW, SELL HIGH = PROFIT.
I'll be elaborating in the following content.
THE EXCHANGE FORUM & WANTED SUBFORUM
Gaia Forums » GAIA Gaming » The Gaia Exchange
Forum Rules and Guidelines
Don't be noob and read/skim/whatever.
The Exchange forum is for SELLING.
The Wanted subforum is for BUYING.
You may find possible vends in threads found in the Exchange forum.
JUDGING A THREAD
Being judgmental is really useful in Exchanging.
It saves you a lot of time.
If you think the item OR THE THREAD CONTENT ITSELF is not profitable, don't bother posting.
TYPES OF THREADS
• QUICK SALE - Usually the sellers take the first decent offer they hear. Find these.
• AUCTION - Awful waiting. And seller probably wont end up selling.
• THE "NO LOWBALLS" threads - Don't bother, they will ask for Marketplace prices. Like WTF.
• THE "I WILL IGNORE LOW OFFERS" threads - Again, don't waste your time. Forum spam.
• THE "FREAKING LONG LIST" thread - See 20 items for sale? And there will be 10 replies in the first minute? Oh yeah. Your choice. Usually they take forever to reply. I usually ignore these.
• THE THREAD WITH AN AWFUL LOT OF REPLIES - Usually has a lot offers inside that the seller refused. More or less, he will reject your offer too. Avoid.
HOW TO START: CAPITAL AND GOLD CIRCULATION
Basic principle: ONLY BUY THINGS THAT YOU KNOW WILL SELL FAST IF DON'T HAVE MUCH GOLD TO CIRCULATE
Advisable starting capital: 5mil plus.
Advisable items to buy if starting with 2mil
• Items less than 500k
• MC's
• EI's of any gen (will be elaborated further in the following content)
If you're 2mil and lower, stay away from items 500k unless you can get an item for a huge discount. I suggest that you ONLY buy items 100-500k if you only have less than 2mil and if you're not yet familiar with vending. Most items on that range sell fast, meaning you'd a small chance of losing gold by selling your vend to your insurance price (will be tackled later). It also ensures you that your gold will be circulated and you wont be stuck with vends.
Advisable items to buy if capital is 10mil+
• 200k-1mil items
• Easy to sell 1mil-4mil items (will be elaborated further in the following content)
• Dolls with eyes and hair (details on "HTS" will be elaborated further in the following content)
If you're starting out with 10mil and above, vending 1-3mil items is preferable. Most of the time you can't get vends on these range for the basic AT-LEAST-10%-DISCOUNT. But there are plenty of items from that range that will make you profit well. (will be elaborated further in the following content)
