Just money up until 200 valentines then you get this.

And if you send valentines to certain NPCs you get pictures.

The only NPC I wanted was Louie and they didn't have him, so I haven't been doing that myself.

There aren't any ranks. That's a mini-event going on today only, where you can quote other people to give them whatever 'house' you have, or they can quote you and change yours. The mods apparently were discussing Quidditch and the Harry Potter houses and decided to make a game out of it called Quikkitch. xD So far as I know it's just for fun, though.
