Remnant Demon of the Quartet
As usual, Ester had been up since before sunrise, patroling the halls of the school. Dressed in Swiss Guard's ceremonial uniform, with the white gloves, ruff collar, even the torso armor but not the helmet, that was a bit much and Ester didn't feel like stuffing her hair up into a morion helmet. The ebony boots upon her feet thudded as she walked along the hall, looking for any trouble makers. Sometimes, she would catch theives or bullies getting an early start on the day, but she was always there to stop them. Most would think it wise to cloak herself while on duty, well majority of the time, so that the students wouldn't see her but that what Ester wanted, to let them know she was watching. She knew it was better to prevent them from doing the crime rather than catch them doing the crime. She hadn't a problem with dragging humans nor demons to be punished by their principle but when things got out of hand, and she needed a quick resolve, the Jian Sword sheathed at her side was used as a last resort, just after her hands. So far, everything seemed just fine, no one was causing any problems just yet and they day was starting off with grand results. Ester could only hope that her fellow Quartets were having the same luck with this inactivity.
By no means was Ester lazy, but it was a good sign when she didn't have to scowled or man-handle anyone. Prehaps the troubled assests of the school were sleeping in today, and Ester has yet to truely start her shift. Only time would tell of this, but for now, everything was peaceful. She felt the need to get a bit higher, but not in the mood for the stairs at the moment. The demon made her way outside, infront of the school, and began putting her skills to use. She scaled the wall, using the features of the building, such as windows, ridged areas, and every knook and cranny she could slip her fingers into. Ester came to an area where there was a gap between window seals. She pressed her feet into the wall and kicked off, lunging at the far window and quickly grabbing the ledge of the seal as she came downward. Using her upper body strength, the demon fainlly hoisted herself up atop the roof, looking out upon the campus.
The sight was rather nice, the rays of the slowly rising sun set fire to the sky and gave birth to the light that would soon blanket this realm in which humans and demons were educated together.
