Personality: Kind, Bubbly, Quiet, Shy, Short Tempered, Protective, and Blunt.
Family: An older brother, a little brother. Mother, and Father
Short bio: Kayla grew up in Los Angeles with her mother and brothers most of her life. Her father left to go over seas for work, so he was hardly around, making her mother seem as if she was a single mother raising three kids. Since she grew up with boys, even her relatives were mostly guys and maybe two or three girls, she was 'exposed', as her mother would say, to video games, wrestling, and a few other things while growing up. The wrestling didn't last very long, but the video games stuck for a very long time, to this day even. Anyways, she was close to her younger brother and always played with the kid, but she wasn't as close with her other brother, which she didn't mind since he had grew close to their younger sibling since he was actually had a brother rather than a sister. Still the two quarreled, but that was only over who beat who in a game. Other than that, she has a practically normal life.

Personality: Quiet, confident, affectionate, curious, extroverted, optimistic, and impulsive.
Family: His big sister.
Short bio: Beau's parents
left when he was young and never came back, he was never told why, but, his sister who was 15 years older than him raised her brother. Now, 10 years later, Booker's in a
'swanky' school in LA. His sister's really proud that she can send him there since they used to live on minimum wage. They moved a lot and usually had to share a bed since they couldn't afford two bedrooms (or many other things). Booker wasn't necessarily proud of what they'd done from time to time (such as stealing and other illegal acts). Anyway, Beau dresses in drag because he got comfortable with it growing up in his big sister's hand-me-downs. He started going by an androgynous name so people would stop teasing him as much but he still shamelessly goes to the boys' dorm floors. Booker doesn't talk much, not because he doesn't want to, but, because his voice became
'so' masculine after puberty and he gets weird looks. He doesn't really care what people think of him since he's been through so much and is just happy that his sister and him are where they're at. He doesn't know where, but, somewhere along the road Beau fell in love with theater, he got into the clubs whenever he could considering how often he switched schools. He's happy that he's been here for
two years now, which means he's been able to be in the same club for that span of time which is
awesome!

Name: Riley Campbell
Age: 16
Grade: 10th (Sophomore Year)
Sexuality: Straight
Years attended: 1
Personality: Relaxed, passionate, quiet, patient, creative, loving, closed off
Family: Mother, deceased brother
Short bio: Riley is returning to the academy for his second year of high school. He lives closer to the campus than any other high school in the city and therefore his mom decided it would be easier for him to go here for his high school education. The sophomore is very passionate about music and can play several random instruments, big and small. He started by learning how to sing at a young age and grew into music that way. His older brother, Mark (who was 19), taught him how to play guitar before the family got into a severe car accident due to being hit by a drunk driver that left his brother in a comatose state and his mom paralyzed from the waist down. Riley only left the scene with some stitches and a broken arm, which is minor compared to the rest of his family's injuries. Riley was 11 when this happened but ever since then, Riley dreamed to become a musician to make his brother proud. His mother had a hard time dealing with Mark's death and having to deal with being disabled and therefore got into heavy drugs. It took a couple years for her to recover fully and quitting drugs to become clean. His mother and him still have a great relationship, although it got really rocky the first couple years after the car accident. Riley always turned to playing guitar and singing as a resort to deal with his brother's death, poverty, his mom's drug addiction, and other things he's had to face in his life. He also enjoys writing poetry as a stress reliever too.

Her little brother decided to live with Corey’s mom and stepfather and because the moved across the country it was very rare to see them. Even though it was just her brother and dad, life was good. Corey grew up under the hood of a car and covered in grease. She knew how it rough it with the guys and how to outrun a cop on the street. Short bio: Eric grew up in the big apple, doing so made him used to talking to people. He was the aftermath of a one night stand his mother had with an old friend of hers, so, he never knew his father. He wasn't sure if his mother did, either, since she never talked about him. He didn't really care about that, anyway. He's sociable but he doesn't really just talk to specific 'cliques' since he never finds himself to fit in well with any of them. Short bio: Jae Hwa grew up in South Korea, her father had walked out on her and her mother at a very young age. She doesn't really remember his face and her mother doesn't keep photos of him either. Growing up with only a mother in one of the busiest cities in Korea wasn't easy for the two of them but they made it work. Her mother didn't really spend much on her self so she spent most of her money on Jae Hwa. About 6 months ago the economy in Korea hit hard and this made the two come to america. They spent five and a half months with her grand mother. She treated them with such kindness but her mother was indeed a woman who didn't want to lean on others so that is when they found them selves in Los Angeles. Personality: Jaylyn is a bit odd, since she enjoys reading books and 'nerdy' things like anime, but is bold and social enough to be considered a prep. She enjoys hanging out and talking to everyone, but in class she tends to be very quiet. She has a good, kind, and giving nature to. She loves to take on challenges and is a natural born leader. She is usually very good at making friends with anyone and everyone, and, despite how free spirited she acts, she also suffers from trust issues, self-confidence problems and extreme anxiety.
Family: Younger sister, baby brother, Mother, Father, and quite a bit of extended family
Short bio: Jay's life actually started in France, since her stubborn mother decided to go on a business despite her baby being due only a week after she got back. Sure enough, Jay ended up being born prematurely in France. After that, Jay and her mother went home on the next flight, and Jay lived a comfortable life. Her father was a politician working in the capital and her mother's job was classified, although they said she was in the military. At age 14 Jay's mom was asked to move to the west coast, but her father had to stay. Since her mom was home more often, Jay decided to go with her mom. At first she went to a standard public school, but wasn't challenged academically enough, and transferred to LAOVBA in hopes of a challenge.

Personality: Mostly serious, shy but eager to make friends, practical, responsible, big-sisterly, pessimistic, melancholy and unhappy with life
Family: Older sister, younger deceased sister, father, mother, stepfather
Short bio: Growing up in New Jersey, Cassandra was into playing several instruments. She’s talented at the drums, her main passion, but she’s never had a chance to perform outside her church. It was there that she was mentored by the church band’s leader, who played both drums and guitar. She was in band in middle school, and so she can play some trumpet, though she’s not so into it. She also started on the guitar freshman year, and is getting better at it. When she suddenly fell in love with her best friend Elizabeth, her beliefs came into conflict with her feelings, but she eventually confessed her feelings and the two started dating. Upon discovering this, her mother sent her away to boarding school in California, both for her to be far away from Elizabeth and to still be close to the arts. Additionally, the U.S. History teacher is her mother’s cousin. Although Cassandra is brokenhearted to have been dumped by Elizabeth (who turned out to have been cheating on her with a boy anyway) and far away from her family (whom she loves despite their condemnation and harsh judgment), she has delved deeper into music as an escape.

Name: Serenity Alice Godsmark
Age: 17

Sexuality: Straight
Years attended: 3
Personality: Serenity is a quiet woman, gentle and as graceful as a swan upon the lake. She was blessed with a beautiful face and though she'd hoped to have a different career, she instead is a quiet model. She doesn't party, doesn't do drugs and she is an all around good girl, but her passion lies in animals. She is easy to get along with, but she's rather slack when it comes to her job, not in an unreliable way - but at photo shoots she casts dreamy gazes out the window of the buildings, dreaming she was free. It's been many years since she's raised her voice, or cried, or even let out a loud gale of laughter, as if along with her hopes and dreams her ability to express emotions in a drastic degree has been locked away deep within her. That does not mean her smile doesn't come easy. She is always willing to give those out - but other extreme emotions are locked up tight within her.
Family: None
Short bio: Serenity's father was a big time entrepreneur who was successful in his life time. His work carried his family, her and her mother, to Brisbane, Australia when she was very young (5). Though born in the states, she managed to blend well, and live her life out well, and the only flaw in her life was that her father found he had a taste for young Australian Sheila's and the only thing holding her family together was her mother's tolerance of adultery because the money was good. Eventually her mother found her own consorts...mostly young men. Her mother began to party and as Serenity grew older and more capable, she was left alone more often then not. She became a model at 13, and began to fund her own living, off the money she made. When Serenity came back to the states for business and modelling opportunities fresh out of the 8th grade the agent she took on named Vanessa found a maternal string for her, and she was glad when Serenity agreed to put herself through highschool. Using the funds that Serenity made, Vanessa made all of the arrangements with LAOVBA - a private boarding school where Serenity's fame would hopefully not put her in the middle of all the scrutiny - each year putting her modelling career on semi-hiatus', accepting a few jobs here and there.

Personality: Ruki can be quiet at times but that's usually only if something is on his mind. All the other times he'll talk to people if they interest him. He neither prefers to be alone or with people (it doesn't bother him either way). However, if they get annoying he'll tell them what's on his mind in order to shut them up. He's daring and likes to explore new places in all kinds of ways.
Family: Mother, Father and younger sister back home
Short bio: Ruki was always good with school. Never had to worry about failing and even passed the exams to get into high school. His family isn't anything out of the ordinary either. He helps his younger sister out with her school work when he isn't bothering her like an older brother does. When he was 14, him and a couple of his friends put together a small band. They aren't too famous yet; they've done a couple opening shows for smaller bands and so far they have a very tiny following.
Why is he here? Well, this school year, Ruki was given a sort of scholarship to study abroad. He decided to take it not only to make connections but also for the experience that he hopes will be an interesting twist in the music him and his fellow band members make.

That meant that since his mother had to work all the time to support the three, it gave Kendra complete control over him. She made him do a lot of things, mostly chores and serving her like she was a Princess. Did I forget to bring up that she still thinks shes a Princess? Well...she doesn't call herself a Princess, but she sure expects everyone to treat her like one. Name: Gemini "Gem" Louise Devushka
Age: 18
Grade: Senior
Sexuality: Bisexual
Years attended: New student
Assumed clique: Outcasts
Personality: Outgoing and devious. She's one of the ones that sneaks alcohol and cigarettes into the dorms, and goes to parties outside of school. Gemini is probably one of the toughest girls you meet. She'll be the last person to tell you anything is bothering her because she's used to dealing with stuff herself. She's also very hard headed and stubborn; when she knows she's right she'll fight for it. She'll even fight for it when she's wrong.
Family: Just her aunt.
Short bio: If you thought Gemini's story was a happy one, boy are you mistaken. She didn't grow up in a normal family, with two loving parents and an older brother, like most American stereotypes. She was born in Moscow, Russia, about eighteen years ago, to a loving mother who was very, very young. She was sixteen when she had little Gemini. Her parents hated the fact that she had a child at so young, so they sent the baby off to live with an aunt that was also in Moscow. There is where Gemini grew up, not knowing who her real mother was, since she looked so much like the aunt. After she turned fourteen, the aunt told her about what happened; Gemini refused to have anything to do with the rest of the family after that. After getting into drugs and alcohol (and even starting a semi-famous band), Gemini's aunt decided to send her to a school in the USA that she had heard about.

Family: 4 year old little sister, mom, dad
Short bio: Nick grew up in a privileged rich upper class home with two hard-working parents. His parents were strict and made sure their son was just as hard-working as they were. His father decided to have Nick play a bunch of sports growing up, finding they would teach him responsibility and determination. Naturally, Nick grew to love those sports and continued to participate on sports team in school and outside of school. He hopes to one day be in the NFL for a career, seeing as football is his favorite sport to play. But he also loves baseball, basketball, hockey, tennis, track, and other competitive sports. He also learned how to play guitar on the side. He still struggles with his own sexuality but currently labels himself bisexual although he hasn't come out to anyone nor has he acted upon his attraction to other boys. The reason he's switching into boarding school is for disciplinary reasons from his strict parents. Nick started doing poorly in school due to being caught up in sports, although his intelligence falls between average to above average. His parents are hoping boarding school will help him learn how to multitask school with sports.
