I feel like books do a better job of explaining everything. There's no way they could fit all that detail in to one little movie. sad
I had a bit of trouble enjoying the movie just because of how much they left out but I think that if you were to watch the movie and then read the book you would enjoy them both perfectly.
The book defiantly deserves a read.
